Help me//Reddie

~N I N E~

Richie's POV-

This following Monday our suspension is over so that means we are all back at school but things have changed suddenly,almost unexpectedly.

I walk through the halls still hearing whispers and I can still feel them all stare.

I walk up to my locker and Beverly is standing there with her hair all messy and a smile on her face.

"Hey,Bev." I say unlocking my locker.

"Where's Eddie?" She asks,I shrug.

I look around and then spot him walking in through the door.

I wave him over.

"Hey,Eds." I say. He smiles sweetly.

"Hey,Rich." Then the bell rings.

The three of us walk to English class together. I start to walk up to my usual seat in the corner but then I hear someone call my name. I turn my head and see Stan and Bill.

    They smile at me and I awkwardly walk over.

    "Hey,guys..." I say.

   "Do you guys want to sit with us?" Stan asks. I turn to look at Bev and Eddie they're just standing there confused at what I am doing.

    "Sure." I say with a small smile.

   I motion the two over. I sit next to Stan on his right. Bill is in his left so Beverly sits in the seat next to Bill and Eddie sits on my right.

    Our teacher stands at the front of the cal and starts the lesson. I sit there trying to focus but I can't. I can't stop thinking about my conversation with Beverly yesterday.

    Do I like Eddie? Well I obviously have feelings for him. But then there's Stan he's been really nice to me lately but why? I have to figure this out and at the same time try to find a way to tell my parents that I'm bisexual! As all these thoughts go through my head I don't notice Stan shacking my shoulder I turn to him and he smiles slightly.

     "Hey,Bill and I wanted to know if you,Bev and I guess Eddie want to go to the drive in to night." I look at him for a second. Why does he want me to come with them to the drive in? I think to myself.

     "So,do you?" Stan asks again. I nod.

    "Sure." I say. He smiles.

    "Cool,it'll be fun." He say, "I promise."

The whole day Stan and Bill hung out with Bev,Eddie and I. We sat together at lunch and we all even walked home from school together.

When I get home both my parents are at work. I walk up stairs and get dressed for the movie I decide to wear a Lana Del Rey 'Born to Die' t-shirt with a black jacket and a pair of ripped jeans.

    I text Stan asking when to meet him and where.

      He tells me to meet to meet up at Bills house.

    So, I text Beverly and Eddie the information they need and I get ready.

    I wait for it to be 6:30 then I start to walk to Bills. As I walk down the street I pass by Beverly's. I'm guessing she hasn't gone yet,she probably isn't even dressed.

After a minute or two more of walking a pass by Eddie's and she him on his front porch. He's putting something in this fanny pack. Eddie's wearing a grey t-shirt with denim jeans and a red fanny pack.

He zipped up his fanny pack and looks up. When he does he spots me and smiles.

I wave well slowing down my pace.
