Richie's POV-

"And then he kissed me!" I say to Bev.

I see her eyes light up with excitement and joy.

"Oh, my god!" Bev yells, "I'm so happy for you!"

She stands up and hugs me tight then releases me.

"Are you guys dating?" She asks still with excitement in her eyes.

I shrug. "I don't know?" I say.

"Well It sure seems like it!" She says with joy.

Then my phone vibrates. I take it out of my pocket and see it's Eddie.

Eds:I had fun last night!

I can feel my face go red.

"He just texted me saying 'last night was fun!'" I say now with joy in my eyes.

"Oh my god,Richie! You guys are literally dating." She says in a more serious tone.

"Well,he never said we where." I say with a little less excitement in my tone.

"Maybe he did say you where dating because he's waiting for you to tell him!" She says.

"No..." I say.

"Richie what did I say?! Don't hesitate!" Bev begins, "You finally got the guy! Don't mess it up now!"

She then grabs my phone from me.

"What the hell! Give me my phone back!" I say trying to grab my phone back.

She starts to type something and then she sends it.

I grab my phone from her, "What did you send?!" I ask in a panic.

She texted Eddie saying:

Richie:Do you want to come over?

"What the hell,Bev!" I yell.

"What? I'm trying to help you." Bev says with a smirk.

    Then Eddie responds:

Eds:Sure

"He's coming over!" I say.

"Actually!" Bev says with excitement. "You're welcome." She says with a smirk.

I roll my eyes.

"Do you want me to leave?" She asks.

I nod.

"Ok,tell me everything!" She says getting up and leaving.

I flop back on my bed and look up at the ceiling.

I can't help but think of last night.

We're obviously something,I mean Eddie kissed me!

After a couple minutes of me thinking about everything the door bell rings. I spring up from my bed and run out of my room.

I run to the top of the stairs and see my mother letting Eddie in.

"Hello,Mrs.Tozier." Eddie says.

"Oh,Hello Eddie are you here for Richie." She asks sweetly.

"Hey,Eds!" I say walking down the stairs.

He look up from my mother and looks at me and smiles.

"Hey,Richie." He says.

"We can go hangout in my room." I say.
