Richie's POV

   It's December 22nd. Tonight eddies coming over to meet my mother.

   I had nothing to worry about but in situations like this, my anxious takes over.

   We were just simply having chicken parmesan, which I know is eddies favourite food, but it's simple since Christmas dinner was going to be huge!

    I decide to wear a plain white t shit tucked into a pair of blue jeans. I run my hand threw my hair a few times to fluff it up and then go down stairs to help my mom with dinner.

    "Aww Rich! You look amazing." My mother smiles.

     "Thanks mom." I smile back brightly.

      "You two can go in your room and hang out after dinner, just no funny business." She glances at me.

      "Mom seriously." I laugh lightly and blush.

      "Rich, I'm being serious! You two are at the age where sexual activity is normal and very common." She hands me plates to set the table with.

     "Mom please don't call it sexual activity." I start to laugh louder.

      "Fine, it's ok if you guys are having sex just be safe!" She tries to keep a straight face.

"We're not stupid, eds is actually a neat freak!" I exclaim with a laugh.

"Ok, ok." My mother laughs.

I laugh with her but then hear the door bell ring, it's definitely Eddie.

"Oh shit, I'll get it!" I quickly walk to the door.

I open it to see eddie standing there. He's wearing a black long sleeve polo shirt tucked into blue jeans.

"Hey rich." He smiles, I can feel myself blush. He looks adorable.

"Hey cutie." I smirk. He just rolls his eyes and pecks my lips.

I'm startled but then invite him inside.

"Richie, is it Eddie?" My mom shouts from the other room.

"Yeah it's him." I say and run a hand threw my hair. I see her come out of the kitchen with a smile.

"Eddie," she walks up to him and hugs him, he hugs back, "so nice to see you."

"It's so nice to meet you Mrs.Tozier." He smiles sweetly and I blush even harder.

"Dinners almost ready." My mom smiles, "but you boys can go upstairs."

"Thanks mom." I smile and start walking up the stairs.

"Thanks Mrs.Tozier." Eddie says sweetly. My mother smiles back just as sweetly, then Eddie and I disappear up the stairs.

We walk down the creaky hallway in silence to my room, "You can sit on my bed, my mom doesn't care." I say closing the door but, keeping it open a few inches.

Eddie lays down on my bed and stretch's his arms and legs out.

I laugh and lay next to him, "hi."

He kisses me softly and I kiss back immediately, he then pulls away, "So I heard Connors throwing a New Years party...are you gonna go?"

     I smirks teasingly, "are you gonna act all pissy if I do?"

     "Ok shut up!" He laughs lightly and pushes me lightly, "I'm just asking."

      "Eds, nothings happening between Conner and I! he's straight and I'm pretty sure he has a thing for Betty Ripson in my geo class. Imma help him out." I laugh lightly and sit up.
