Balmeran solider POV

I watched the Altean pilot run her hand along her fighter plane, tracing the stripes similar to the hue of her uniform, a small smile of reminiscence on her face. After she crashed down in her damaged fighter plane unconscious, our people of Balmera decided to put her in a healing pod and to make her plane and uniform like new before she awoke.

"I am very thankful for your assistance and care, is there anything I can do to repay you?" the pilot inquired, removing her hand from her plane to turn to us.

"Only that you come by to visit us, that is all." an old Balmeran softly replied, kindness reflecting our actions.

"Of course." the pilot replied and smiled softly. A young Balmeran came to her, carrying a small crystal swaddled in cloth.

"To remember our kindness." they explained, placing it in her hands. She nodded, gripping it softly and placing it close to her heart.

"Well then, having everything prepared for my departure, I must be off. I cannot express my gratefulness enough. I will surely come by to visit when I am able, but for now, goodbye." she spoke, hopping into the pilot's seat.

"Good luck on your journey!" we all exclaimed, sending her our wishes. With her last thank you, she dashed off into space.

Giga POV

Once I had sent my plane in the correct direction, I relaxed in my seat and tapped the autopilot button on the screens before me. Unfortunately I had never been to Balmera, so I didn't know where I was. I was assigned as a defense fighter pilot, my job was to stick close to the castle and my boundary was just outside Altea's atmosphere. I gently unwrapped the swaddled crystal given to me by the Balmera, and a small smile formed on my face. I was very grateful for their help, and I got to know a bit about Altea's ally while they helped me prepare for my liftoff. Balmera's atmosphere is a strange, the yellow gray and neon blue hues seeming strange to me, in comparison to Altea's white, gray and blue hues that seemed to be ingrained in my mind. I guess I'm on my own until I find princess Allura and the rest of Altea.
