A/n: look at her she's so adorbs ^ - ^

The cell door unlocked, and it turned my attention to two galran guards in the doorway.

"Get up, it's time." One ordered, stepping forward seeing I had not gotten up. Shiro though, he shot straight up from what I'm guessing is fear. The guard grabbed my arm with a too tight of a grip and ripped me from my seat and onto the ground. I grunted and I felt a gentler hand help me onto my feet. I looked up and smiled my thanks to Shiro, who nodded.

"If you wanted me to fight so badly then why don't you fight me yourself." I grumbled, and felt an elbow sharply poke my rib. I shot Shiro a look of confusion, who in response just shook his head in disapproval of my mumbled words.

"What was that?" the other guard asked sharply, and though he didn't say it I could tell he was just waiting to give me something I wouldn't like and he would enjoy: pain. I was about to give a snarky response when Shiro cut in.

"N-Nothing!" he stammered, and earned a weird look from the guard. I sighed with frustration, and I glanced at Shiro, who gave me a disapproving look.

Allura POV

"What do you mean you lost Shiro!?" Keith exclaimed, pacing around the room. When the Paladins had returned from the Quintessence mission, Shiro had gone missing, but his lion returned.

"I don't know! He just disappeared from my sight!" Lance exclaimed, his voice slightly shaking from worry.

"You should have kept an eye on him!" the red Paladin stressed, blaming Lance for his disappearance.

"Guys stop! We're getting nowhere yelling at each other!" Hunk exclaimed, managing to get everyone's attention.

"Yes, we need to focus on getting Shiro back."  I said, knowing I was worried myself.

Giga POV

"Wonder who's our competitor?" I thought aloud, thinking through the possibilities from my knowledge.

"Could be anyone, but I have a feeling you'll get someone much more difficult from your previous fights, especially with me." Shiro replied, glancing at me.

"True, good thinking." I said.

"Remember to keep out of Rookie's way Champion." the guard behind us growled with anticipation of seeing me killed or killing my competitor. Shiro nodded, acknowledging the order. We walked out into fight ring, and roars erupted from the crowd at the sight of Shiro.

"Wow aren't you famous?" I teased, a smile on my face for a brief moment.

"Yeah, I am." Shiro laughed, after taking a moment to realize I was teasing. After our competitor, a stronger Galran guard, stepped into the ring and soaked in the roars of excitement from the crowd, we got into fighting stances.

Time skip cause i don't really know how to write battle scenes!

Bleeding and breathing heavily, and lunged my fist into my competitor's weak spot, their face, and managed to knock them unconscious. I leaned forward and caught my breath for a moment before a stronger and tougher guard stepped out to compete against Shiro and I. Shiro had done not much to give him pain, with his handy glowy arm, and if I had a handy glowy arm like him, I would probably look about the same as well.

"Let's see if we can get you a resting place." Shiro suggested, seeing my condition of bruises, heavy bleeding and breathing.

"How?" I gasped, clutching my side where my competitor had used spiked knuckles against my skin there. Just then a pink armored figure jumped into the ring and placed themself between my new competitor and I, followed by four more in multicolored armor. The leader ordered something inaudible to me, then ran and faced Shiro and I.

"Allura?" Shiro gasped, and I froze. Allura? Like Princess Allura? Can't be, she's dead. I looked up, and came face to face with the one called Allura, whose shock was equal to mine.

"Princess?" I whispered, recognizing her face and Altean markings, then a sharp pain struck the back of my head.
