I was pushed into a roaring arena, filled with Galra excited to meet me. I sighed, my head spinning slowly. One moment I was on my way to find Princess Allura, the next I was forced into a Galran Area without any anger sharpening my senses. It was odd, the feeling of being fine with my situation suggested my question to my sanity. Had I grown insane and had been fine with it? It was really hard to tell. All I knew was that I wanted to get out, but I seemed to forget about it constantly.

"Let's meet our rookie gladiator!" The announcer announced, his voice echoing throughout the area above the roaring crowd. I realized I was still in the shadows, and I stepped out hesitantly, meeting a louder roar than I've ever heard so far.

"And now  for their competitor! We'll go easy on you, for now." they announced, signaling my competitor's entry. It was a Galran guard, with brownish white fluffs poked out, which made me raise an eyebrow. The brownish white fluffs seemed so familiar, yet so unfamiliar. Unfortunately their covered eyes didn't help.

"Uh, are you going to strike first?" The Galran guard asked, puzzled by the moment of silence between the two of us.

"I was going to actually wait until you struck first." I admitted, crossing my arms.

"Oh, then are we doing hand to hand combat? You don't have a weapon." They pointed out, and I lifted my hands to my face, and put them into fists.

"I guess so, I wasn't given a sword or anything." I said, repeating their stance after they tossed their weapon to the side and got into a fighting stance. After shifting my feet to a comfortable position, I looked up to the Galran guard and nodded. My eyes seemed to sharpen without my command as I stared at my competitor. My competitor came running at me, and threw a punch which I automatically dodged and grabbed their wrist and flipped them over, knocking their breath out of them. My eyes widened as I realized what happened.

"I didn't know I could do that!" I gasped, stepping back slightly.

"You're an experiment, Haggar adjusted your brain to do that." They grunted, getting up after catching their breath.

"Oh, ok." I said, preparing to strike as they retained their stance.

"They didn't tell you what they did?" They asked, throwing punches as I dodged and threw a few.

"No, not really." I grunted, being punched in the stomach but recovering quicker than I thought.

"You see that you're recovering quicker? They heightened your every sense and gave you better stability and recovery. Basically a better version of you." They explained, jerking back from impact after I punched their face.

'Oh, ok." I muttered, dodging a punch and knocking them off their feet.

"Wow, you're doing better for a defense fighter pilot." they noted, getting back up quickly.

"How do you know that I'm defense?" I asked, throwing a punch that landed on their elbow and shaking my hand back frantically as it stung with new blood.

"Zarkon was told by Haggar, who told the guards." they explained quickly, then flipping me over and knocking the breath out of me.

"Creep!" I muttered as I rolled out of the way of another punch and getting back up, slower than before from my bruises. As I got up my eyes meet a blade that was pointed at me.

"Listen, it was nice talking to you but I'd really like this to end." They sheepishly said, then sliced across my face and knocking me back with a heavy blow, and then darkness.
