As I chew on a bar from the Balmeran cooks, I stared out into my window boredly, studying each tiny detail. A distress alert disturbed me of my bored thoughts, and exited my thoughts. The distress alert came from a nearby planet, called Olkari. This really isn't the best time to call me for help you guys. I thought to myself, wiping off excess crumbs and dust off myself. What's the worst that could happen? Well I get captured by the Galra and killed. Oh.. yeah.. Welp here goes nothing! I took my plane off autopilot, and descended onto the planet, landing amid the trees for cover. I don't know what's beyond my plane, besides what I know from my studies back on Altea. I hopped out of my plane, being prepared with armor, my safety aid and a simple pistol. As I walked amid the trees towards the distress signal, I ran through the information I knew about the Olkari.

A. They live on Olkarion

B. The current leader is Lubos

C. They are engineers

D. ... that's all

Coming to an end of my thoughts, I also came to an end of the forest. I stood just outside of the trees, where there was a grassy passage when the city met the forest. I glanced at my portable tracker, following closer to the signal. Finding myself in front of a small building, I glanced at my tracker once again, noticing the city was unusually quiet. My knuckles knocked gently at the door.

"Altean fighter pilot here. I received your distress signal." I introduced, glancing around at my quiet surroundings. My attention turned to the door when I heard shuffling, and the door crack open to meet a pair of brown eyes.

"Uhh.. hi!" I said, embarrassed suddenly. Before I knew it was dragged into the dimly lit home, where small candles where placed around the room for light. Eyes of brown and red stared at me, as if awaiting something.

"Um... I got your distress signal." I uttered, lifting up my portable tracker with a sheepish smile on my face.

"Oh, thank you! We might not have thought Voltron and the Paladins would come since the great war!" a woman expressed her relief to me. A sudden pang a regret and pain pierced through me like a sword. The great war. Of course I remember it, how could I not?

"Thea, remember she's Altean!" a man snapped, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Oh no, it's quite alright, I don't remember much of it." I interrupted, kindly brushing off the woman's words.

"Anyhow, can you help us?The Galra has enslaved most of our people, and we're the only ones who haven't." Thea explained in a hushed tone.

"I think I could manage, I only have a defense fighter plane, but I can cover for you while you escape." I thought, crossing my arms.

"Oh yes, we could use your cover, that would be wonderful!" Thea gratefully accepted my offer. "Ainsley, tell her about the gaurds." she said, her enthusiasm slipping away a little bit.

"Oh, of course. There were some of us who haven't been captured, but when we would go out, the Galra caught us, little by little. Now they have guards everywhere for any other Olkarians who haven't been enslaved, like Thea and I." he explained, lowering his voice cautiously.

"I didn't run into any Galra guards when I came here though." I mentioned.

"How? Maybe the Galra have removed their guards!" Thea hoped.

"That couldn't have been possible." Ainsley thought aloud.

"Must have been pure luck." I commented, not knowing Galra fully, but making estimated guesses from what I've heard.
