I sat against the wall and stared at the cell wall they put me in, my fingers tracing the fabric on the uniform they gave me. I was amid other chained prisoners, each of them giving different reactions when I entered. Some were surprised to see an Altean, some were ashamed, others gave no reaction besides the only the grim look of death plastered on their face. I knew whatever they put me through, I couldn't give up. My attention shifted to a Galran opening the cell door and shifted their attention to me. I shifted my tracing hands into fists, but before I could strike, they grabbed my arm and pulled me into the hall as I squirmed and pulled, trying to remove myself out of their grasp. Their grasp on my arm tightened and I let out a yelp of pain, and a smirk of satisfaction from my pain formed on their face. Soon I was shoved onto my knees on the cold floor before Zarkon, and a female witch beside him. I raised an eyebrow and glanced between the two of them.
"You'll get to know Haggar very well in your days here." he spoke, his scratchy voice making me very uneasy. I nodded once, acknowledging his answer. I studied Haggar's face beneath her hood, her yellow eyes eagerly gleaming. I saw markings on her cheeks, though they weren't Altean, but I had a feeling she might have been Altean. The Galran leader came near me, and I shot him a glare.
"I will bite you if you come any closer." I growled, baring my teeth.
"Strange, I've never met you in any of my battles with Alteans." he observed, ignoring my threat and lifting my chin to study my face.
"Zarkon." Haggar said, getting impatient I assume.
"Don't rush me Haggar." he said, dropping his hand that lifted my chin and placing it behind his back as he circled me. He then walked away from me, and nodded to Haggar, who eagerly came near me and inspected me, lifting my lip with her cold hands to observe my teeth, which I snapped. Unfortunately she gave no sign of fear.
"It is a disappointment you weren't put into the front lines, you seemed to be built for them." she murmured, and my eyes widened. She's totally Altean!! I screamed inside my head. Haggar stepped back, and nodded.
"She will do very well, only a few adjustments will be needed." she stated, and strolled towards Zarkon.
"Good, get the adjustments made as soon as possible." he ordered, and with that I was forced back into the crowded cell.
