Author's Point Of View (still)

"What, soft porn? How could she agree to do that? Is that even legal in Korea?" Her eyebrows clenched as she disapproved of the idea of taking clothes off for a living.

"Are you that so naïve about entertainment world? Politics surely had bombarded with scandal's issue, don't they? Besides, she was not forced in the first place, it's what she does all the time. Why do you act like this is the first time you hear it?"

She still had the same look when he stared at her.

"Wait? Did you even study the file on Yung Sun-Hee's profiles? The one I gave to you yesterday? Don't tell me you skip that?" his tone was obviously annoyed.

"And read this before the interview tomorrow."

"Put it on the desk. I'll check on it later."

Shoot!

She was obviously distracted by that call session with Hyun-Ki.

She lowered her gaze at him.

At the corner of her eyes, he really looked annoyed.

Okay, Mister Grumpy. Apparently, yesterday mood still lingered.

Awkwardness really made things out of proposition this morning. How she wished she could turn back the time when he's friendlier to her.

"Jungkook-ah?"

"Neh?!"

His sudden 'neh' surprised Young-Mi. Whatever that she intended to ask just now, poof in midair.

She mouthed 'nothing' then stares at the scenery that they've passed.

The weather was cold outside making her rubbed her palms together and put in on her lips.

The sudden touch of the cold fingers to her lips reminisced the kiss from yesterday.

Please—Stop already.

She tilted her head trying to shake off the sudden memories.

Sensing her stress, Jungkook felt sorry for her.

I was guilty in the first place. Should just stop teasing or playing her.

He really hated the atmosphere between them now. The yesterday's incident was entirely his fault. He knew that she's married, but he can't stop hoping for her to like him. He had hopes that she will look his way and knew that he liked her too.

That made him even more so annoyed and feeling mad at himself for having that thought. It's not fair to her but warmth, home, comfort and stability screamed from her beings. That's made her irresistible to his eyes.

He could never have thought that a married woman would entice his attention like this. Maybe it was of age, the near-perfect age to get settle down.

That's what he thought, but, wrecking a marriage still is a taboo for him.

"—Jungkook-ssi, I believe in the sanity of marriage—and I tend to keep to it that way."

Yesterday's kiss was a slip that is not supposed to happen. It's really killing him, making her uncomfortable and he didn't want that. The thoughts mellowed him somehow.

I'll be her friend if that's the only way to be closer to her. I'll do that for sure.

But first, I needed to end this awkwardness.

"Did you sleep well last night?" Jungkook took a deep breath hoping for the best.

"You make me not."

He sighed.

"See, I really don't want to be the reason for your discomfort because of last—." However, she cut him off.

"If you want to talk about yesterday's incident, you should stop,"

"Why?"

"I'm not okay with it. I am still. So, till I can figure it out, I'll hold on to it."

Silence followed.

That's good enough for me.

"Okay," he smiled for the possibility.

"Okay." she smiled back for the probability.
