"So what did she say about all this?"

"Hm, she said no and I comply. What else can I do hyung?"

The conversation was heard quite clearly as Young-Min stepped further to the stairs to inspect the other person. Well, if it was a woman's voice, she'll retrieve automatically back to her room. Luckily, it's a male voice which made her brave enough to step out downstairs.

But, she wondered though as it was not Hoseok, as this voice was quite deep, making her curious enough to show herself to him. Besides, a very delicious smell had lured her palate to keep on going downstairs too.

"Young-Min-ah!" Jungkook's voice was cheerfully greeted her.

Young-Min looked up at him awkwardly, wondering how cheerful and relaxed Jungkook looked as if there was nothing happened between them a few hours ago.

"N—neh." Young-Min answered as she set her eyes at the stranger who beamed at her.

"Hi. I'm Nam Joon. His brother." He said as he stood up abruptly at her presence.

Her heart winked at his obvious dimples but answering him nonetheless. "Hi, I'm Young-Min and this is my son, Hyun-Ki." And as Young-Min set Hyun-Ki on the floor, Hyun-Ki bowed and greeted Nam Joon sleepily.

'Hi, Uncle." That gesture made Nam Joon walked towards him and squatted to his level.

"You are a smart boy aren't you?" Nam Joon beamed as him as he patted Hyun-Ki's head.

Hyun-Ki just smiled as Nam Joon's cheerfulness brushed on him and seemed to wake him.

"Come and sit here with Uncle." Nam Joon held Hyun-Ki's shoulder, and as he ushered him to a seat, Young-Min approached Jungkook who was competently assembling the ingredients for dinner. She spotted a pot of boiling soup on the other side of the stove.

She finally decided to let go of the awkwardness and struck a conversation.

"Hm. What are you making?"

"Fried rice, Jungkook's style!" He lit the gas beneath a wok.

Deftly, he stir-fried rice and sliced spring onions, adding a handful of prawns, some meat pieces, and garden peas. "I lived on it for months at a time during my college days, so now it's a regular on my menu, but my specialty is grilled lamb kebab." He circled his thumb and a finger, making a kissing sound. "It's superb!"

There was one thing about Jungkook, Young-Min decided wryly, he displayed an infinite capacity for surprising her.

She smiled as she went to her son who was talking idly to his new amusement, Nam Joon. "So, do you have any hobbies?"

"Owh, I had many but I love traveling." Nam Joon answered Hyun-Ki's question.

"So, are you reporters like mommy and Daddy Jungkook?" Young-Min caught Nam Joon's eyes widened at the mention of the word daddy.

"No, I'm a businessman. But I work in entertainment like your Daddy Jungkook." Nam Joon answered emphasizing on the word daddy.

Young-Min sighed as she heard that but didn't bother to correct them.

"By the way, Young-Min-ah. Tomorrow evening we're going to a concert at the Opera House, Sun-Hee has booked us tickets," he said as he served the fried rice in the serving plate.

"But, who's going to look after Hyun-Ki?" Young-Min asked as she helped to set the table.

"I do." Nam Joon's voice surprised her.
