mother i forgot to pay my rent to stay on earth this month / i guess you gotta kick me out / please do / i'm tired of mother nature's children always treating me like bonfire delight / i'm not ghost-colored / i'm a purple horizon so treat me like it / i'm not an ordinary plant planted in rich soil / i'm a kalanchoe only found in a lover's garden / i bloom in the most rarest ways but only for the most rarest people / rare people are just too rare to find / but newcomer will always be my title to everyone and nothing's ever gonna change that / my cultural angst is what makes me (us) a fallen downcast / it's like as if we're roadkill that no one bothers to look back at.
