saturn's rings
froze my already
gelid heart
and i acquiesce
on handing
it to her
as i floated back to outer space
(where i belong)
mesmerized of her
dark chocolate
locks
and her
milky cocoa-colored
skin
from across
the room.my tongue stuck in a knot
with cupcake cream filling
between my lips
awaiting for her
foreign words
to solve
my puzzle
fiddling fingers
in an
askew position
her café au lait orbs trailing
my body
up and down
august shivers
along her gaze.she smelt like
tubular flowers
dipped in honey
mixed with
chloroform silk
touching her
crimson nose
and cheeks.her rare eyes
catching me in
daydream zone
her clothes
hugging her body
so beautifully
and i swear
i saw her wings
sprout faintly
when she arched
her back
i'm playing limbo
on her toned back
with the saints
that hid her wings
from everyone
to keep her from
falling
over someone
she knows
she's way too good for.her voice
so gentle
and soft
even pink
princesses
would hail
for her
delicate essence
i hear
church bells
ringing in my ears
and i notice
that our lit-up irises
are locked
together—she's caught me staring.
