Ang bilin ni mommy kapag may nagtanong kung sino ako, sabihin ko daw na isa akong exchange student. Kay Casper at sa katiwala nitong si Arnold Tracy ko lang daw sabihin kung sino talaga ako. Ang mga habilin ni mommy, hindi ako prepared.
Una kong hinanap sa google si Casper kung saan siya nakalibing. Nasa Mountview Cemetery daw according to google. Gamit ang rented kong kotse, tinungo ko ang cemetery. Hinanap ko ang grave na may fallen angel. Ang nasa isip ko naman, si Lucifer, kasi nga fallen angel. Si mommy, hindi malinaw ang instruction. Angel na nakahiga sa puntod pala ang ibig niyang sabihin.
Pagkatapos kong magtanong sa bantay, doon ko nakita kung saan nakalibing si Casper. Malapit ng lumubog ang araw ng marating ko ang puntod niya. CASPER MONTGOMERY.
"Casper." Bulong ko. Umihip ang hangin at dinala ang tinig ko nito.
"Casper, I am here."
"Angeline?" Someone said from my back.
Nanayo ang balahibo ko sa braso. Lumingon at sa likod at nanlaki ang mata ko ng makitang nakatayo ang matangkad na lalaki. Nakaputi ito at translucent ...
"Waaahhhhhhh...." Sigaw ko.
"A ghost...a ghost..." Feeling ko ang lakas ng sigaw ko.
"Why are you whispering?" tanong ng multo.
"A ghost... a ghost." tuloy tuloy ko pa din sinasabi.
"You don't have to point it out. I know I am a ghost, Angeline." sagot nito.
"Angeline!" tawag nito.
"Who are you?" nanginginig na tanong ko.
"I'm Casper." bored na sagot nito.
"The friendly ghost?" Biglang nadugtong ko.
"Ha! Ha! Funny." sabi nito na mukhang naitira.
"Look, I'm sorry... It's just that... It's weird talking to you." I said honestly. Napaupo ako sa damuhan sa sobrang takot.
"We talked like years ago Angeline. And you didn't even get scared before."
"Hmmm... Uh, Casper... Does ghost can get a heart attacked?" bigla kong natanong sa kanya.
"Are out of your mind? Are you using drugs?" Balik na tanong nito.
"Right, so no heart attack for a ghost," I said to myself.
"He is not so friendly after all." I murmured.
"Casper, I am not Angeline," I told him. He looked at me like a cynic ghost he is.
"Then who are you? One of Liam's clone?" Bigla siyang nagalit. Napatayo bigla ako.
"What? Now... I'm her daughter." I replied and take off my baseball cap.
"Angeline has a daughter?" Nagtatakang tanong niya. "What year are we now?"
"Ummm, 2018," I replied.
If only ghost can get pale, he will definitely be pale by now.
"Where is she?"
"My mom?"
"No, your cat." He replied sarcastically.
Nanlaki butas ng ilong ko. Pilosopo pa ito, pektusan ko puyo mo eh.
"She died. And her last wish is to find you and help."
Casper sits on his tombstone. It's surreal looking at him. He looks lost.
"And you are the right person who can help?" He is eying me. Weight his choices.
"Probably. Since my mom gave me instructions. But if you will be cranky today, I will go back the other day. It's getting dark. As much as I want to talk to you, I'm afraid of ghosts."

"How will I know you are the right Casper Montgomery? I don't usually give my name to strangers." I cross my arms over my chest.

Aba't... antipatikong multo ito ah.

"Yup. You are Casper... not the friendliest ghost... but Casper never the less."
"See you tomorrow... probably... I'll go ahead." I walk towards my car and Casper appeared in front of me. I jump... like half a meter high.
"Putang-ina..." napamura ako sa gulat. Kumunot ang noo nito.
"Do not scare me," I growled at him.
"I'm coming with you." He said.
"No," I replied.
"I will not wait again in here." Pamimilit niya.
"Do I have a choice?"
"No." Sagot nito.
"Just... don't scare me."
"Coward." He commented.
Kaya siguro hindi makatawid ito sa kabilang buhay... may pagkasalbahe... Bakit ba gusto pang tulungan ni mommy 'to?
Nagdrive ako pabalik sa hotel na may multong kasama sa passenger side. Isang masungit at sarcastic na multo. Mukha lang palang mabait sa picture!
