~Paul's pov~

Lisa came running down the steps and ran into the kitchen in a panic. She looked over at Sam with a worried look on her face.

“Sam I'm late for school!” Lisa said in a panic voice.

“No you're not, I decided to keep you and those three gigglers home today. I'm going to need as much help as I can get to fix you room.” Sam said with a big smile on his face.

“Oh so I get to help you with my room?” Lisa's eyes lit up when she asked that.

“No, you can do what ever you want to do today.” Sam said as Lisa jaw dropped.

“And who am I suppose to hang out with today then? Sara and Candace are in school, you're going to all the guys, and Emily is visiting family. Oh wait I know, I'll go fishing with Daddy Billy.” Lisa smiled so happily that it made my heart melt.

“Maybe one of us should go as well just incase something comes up.” I said with out even thinking.

“Ok sure and since you said it you can go with her and Billy fishing Lahote.” Sam said with big grin on his face.

“WHAT!” I screamed nearly jumping out of my seat.

“You heard me Paul.” Sam said almost in his Alpha Voice.

Damn it I just had to open my big mouth and the look Jared's giving, lets just say if looks could kill I would be dead right now. I sighed and finished eating then got up and was headed out the front door. Lisa grabbed my elbow and turned me around to look at her.

“I'm sorry you have to spend a day with me, you can bring your girlfriend if you want or you could go cliff diving.” Lisa said softly and sweetly.

I don't know why but I just wanted to grab her and hold her close but I couldn't. I can't let her know that I imprinted on her. So I yanked my arm away and turned my back to her.

“I don't have a girlfriend and I will do as I please. If I want to fish I'll fish and if I want to cliff dive then I'll cliff dive.” I said as cold as I possibly could.

“Ok if that's what you want then do what you want.” Lisa said with no emotion what so ever, it broke my heart.

I watched her walk away as I walked down off Sam's porch. I decided to go home and get ready to hang with Billy and Lisa for the day. I took a shower and then I picked out a nice pair of swim shorts just incase I did go cliff diving. As I was siting on my bed, I started thinking of what it would be like if me and Lisa did get together but that would never happen because she's with Jared and they love each other. I sighed and stood up and decided to just keep on pushing her away. I hope that no one has noticed that I imprinted on Lisa or I was screwed. I would out of my room, down the steps, out the front door, and got into my truck and drove off to where Billy goes fishing at. Sometimes Jake goes with Billy but mostly that leech lover's dad goes with him. After Harry, Seth's and Leah's dad, passed away Billy hasn't went fishing as much as he use to. As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't know I was already there until I pulled in to the little parking lot and got out. I went to the back of my truck and got my dad's old fishing gear and walked down to where Billy and Chief Swan were sitting with their poles already in the water. I looked around and I seen Lisa off a little ways with her pole in the water but while she watched it she was picking up sea shells and putting them into a bucket. I say hi Billy and Chief Swan and walked over to Lisa.

“So you still collect shells huh.” I said as I sat my fishing stuff down.

“Yea but most of the ones I use to have broke. Brady and Collin were trying, and in their words, build a tower with them. But when they got it so tall it fell over and almost all of them broke.” Lisa said as she looked over at her pole.

“Did you yell at them?” I asked as I put my bait on.

“No there was no point I mean I could have but why when I can come here and get more.” Lisa's smile on her face made my heart leap.

“True, so do you go fishing a lot with Billy?” I asked but I have no idea why I did.

“Yea when Jake has patrol. I usually come here with Candace and Sara so I won't be alone. Some times Jake comes with me, once Jared came with me.” Lisa smiled and laughed a laugh that made me just want to grab her and kiss her.

As we sat there and fished, we lost track of time until her phone started ringing.

“Hello?.....hey Jared.....really? I lost track of time.....you guys are done?...ok yea I'm on my way now....ok love you too Jared bye... I will.” Lisa hung up her phone.

“What did Jared want?” I asked kind of in a pissed off tone.

“He wanted to let me know that my room was done.” Lisa said as she started putting her stuff up.

“Here let me help you with some of that.” I took her pole while she took the bucket and her tackle box.

“Thanks but Paul let me ask you something.” Lisa said softly.

“Ok what?” I asked not looking at her.

“Why are you being nice to me just up and out of the blue?” Lisa's question made me stop and think.
