Ch30

~Paul's pov~

I woke up on the floor and wounder why I was sleeping here instead of my bed, then I remembered everything that happened last night. I look down at Lisa sleeping with her head on my chest and her arm reaching over to my shoulder. Man I love the feeling I get when I wake up next to her. I just lay there not moving and wait for Lisa to wake up. After about an hour, Lisa starts moving and then looks up at me smiling.

“Hey sexy how long have you been up?” Lisa sleepy voice brought a smile to my face.

“Just an hour. I didn't want to move, I was afraid I'd wake you up and I didn't want to do that.” I smiled down at her and kissed the top of her head.

Lisa sat up, stretched, then stood up, and walked out of the den. I did the same thing and followed her to the kitchen. She looked through the refrigerator and pulled out some eggs, bacon, milk, butter, and a few other stuff to make pancakes, eggs and bacon. I stood behind her and wrapped my arms around her and watch her cook. Seth comes in with Emma and little Pauly. I take little Pauly out of Seth's arms and put him in his high chair while Seth does the same with Emma. We feed the kids while Lisa cooks food for all 3 of us. Little Pauly grabs the spoon out of my hand and throws it at Lisa's back. It hits her and she freezes and slowly turns around. Emma, little Pauly, Seth, and I all stop laughing and watch her.

“Who did that?” Lisa asked in her fake angry tone.

We all point at little Pauly and she walks over and takes the spoon and throws food at him. After that we all got into a huge food fight, all of us were covered in baby food, flour, eggs, and left over pancake mix. We all laugh and the food is done so we eat then take a shower. Lisa takes a shower first then she gives the kids a bath while me and Seth take turns using the shower down stairs. Once we all were done, we took the kids to the park and played around. I took Seth to the side while Lisa pushed the kids on the swings laughing.

“Seth I plan on doing something for Lisa soon. I plan on asking her to marry me.” I said looking over at Lisa making sure she can't hear us and that she's not coming over to us.

“Dude I'll help in any way I can. Just name it and I'll do my best.” Seth said all hyped up.

“Thanks man. I just need to talk to Sam in letting me get a few days off so I can plan this to perfection.” I told Seth my plan and he smiled nodding to help.

We walked back over to Lisa and the kids and helped push them for a little while longer then we left. We got home and Emma and little Pauly were all tuckered out so we bathed them and put them to bed. I had patrol and I planned on talking to Sam before I went on it or after. Most likely after I got off patrol. As I headed out the door I tell Lisa that I will be late coming home because I have to talk to Sam about some patrol stuff. She said ok and we kissed and I left. I phased once I got far enough in the woods so no one could see me.

Me: who's all on patrol with me tonight.

Sam: me and Embry. Jake had to stay home with Billy, Sue said he's not feeling to good. So I'm taking Jake's patrol.

Me: ok and Sam I wanted to talk to you any ways about having a few days off.

Sam: may I ask why?

Me: well me and Lisa have been together for a month now and well I want to do something special for her and I also want to ask her to marry me.

Embry: it's about damn time Paul.

Sam: yea you can Paul. Me and Emily were talking about when were you going to pop the question just before I left for patrol.

Me: thanks man, that means a lot to me.

Embry: so how do you plan on asking her?

I smile and I show them how I plan on doing it. They said the same thing as Seth, they will help as well as much as they could. This was going to be great, I know me and Lisa and the kids are already a family but Lisa is the only one that doesn't have my last name. I really wanted to change that and I'm hoping that she will say yes.

I got off from patrol and walked into the house to find it quite. I go upstairs and find the kids asleep in their beds, Seth is asleep in his room (his room is connected to the kids room). I went in mine and Lisa's room and I freeze when I see Jared sitting on the edge of my bed. Lisa isn't in the bed thankfully.

“What are you doing here Jared?” I asked angry that he's in MY room.

“We need to talk Paul.” Jared said not looking up at me.

“Where's Lisa?” I asked looking around.

“She went for a run, in human form not in wolf. She said she needed to think.” Jared said still looking at the floor.

“What did you do to Lisa Jared Cameron?” I asked pissed off.

“I told her that I love her and then I kissed her. Hey if it helps she slapped me, it still hurts.” Jared said giving off a scared laugh.

“YOU WHAT!!! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW OR I WILL DO MORE THEN JUST SLAP U JARED CAMERON!” I yelled at Jared as I stomped closer to him. Then I heard her voice.

“Paul don't, the kids are asleep and it's a pain to put then back to bed. Jared just leave and don't come back. I love you but not like that, not any more. Only one man has my heart and he's had since I first moved in with Sam. But if you don't leave or leave me alone I don't think I can hold him back any longer, so please Jared or Paul will hurt you.” Lisa said as she came over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist.

Jared nodded and got up. He walked away and out out of the house. I felt kind of sorry for him but he needs to move on. I unwrap Lisa's arms from around me and walk out of the room. I go down stairs and lock everything up and go back up to my girl. Once I get up there she's in the shower, I smile evilly and get in with her.

The next morning I woke up before Lisa this time. I got up slowly still smiling as I thought about last night in the shower. Lisa has NEVER screamed that loud in the bed room before but when she's in the shower, boy does she get loud. But then again she makes me get loud in there as well so what can I say? Well I got dressed, we 'played' a little in bed as well last night, then went down stairs and started fixing Lisa's favorite breakfast, biscuits and sausage country gravy. Of course I made a shit load because of me and Seth eat a lot and so does Lisa. I'm off patrol today and tomorrow so tonight is the night. I had I huge ass smile plastered on my face the whole time I was cooking.
