I told Jared he could spend the night tonight but he had to do my patrol, Sam and the rest of the pack laughed. Jared said he would do it and gave me a hug and a deep kiss before heading out with Sam and Jake. Quil was spending the night with Seth along with Brady and Collin. Leah went to go stay at her families with Emily. So that night it was only me, Paul, and Embry left in the house. I told them that they could stay if they want to and they nodded their head and each one took a couch. I went up to my room and went threw my closet to find something to sleep in. I found my favorite pj’s and I put them on then climbed into bed. I closed my eyes soon drifting off to sleep.

I soon woke up to a weird noise but when I sat up there was no one in my room. I sighed and went to use the bathroom then came back out and looked at my clock, it said 2:34am. I groaned and sat on my bed flopping down onto my back and rolling over onto my side so that I'm facing my window. I looked at my window for a little bit with the feeling that I'm being watched. I shrug it off and close my eyes but only to have them open again to the sound of something rubbing on my window. I sit up and look at my window better and see red eyes staring back at me. I scream and run to my bedroom door. As I reach for my door handle I hear my balcony door start to open, I froze and being the stupid girl that I am, I looked behind me. The red eyes stood in the door way so I screamed again and ran out of my room and down the stairs only to run into someone.

I don't bother to look up to see who it is but I look back up the stairs. I finally look up to see Paul staring down at me and Embry standing by the couch.

“Lisa why the hell were you screaming for?” Embry asked me looking at me weird.

“I woke up to a weird noise but there was no one in my room so I went to the bathroom and went back to bed. Well once I laid down and closed my eyes I heard something rubbing on my window and when I sat up and looked out it I seen red eyes. So I screamed then ran to my door. As I was opening my door I froze hearing my balcony door open. I had enough nerve to look behind me only to see red eyes looking back at me. So I screamed again and ran down here.” I said while trying not to cry and to stop shaking from fear.

“Red eyes? Did you smell the stench of a leech?” Embry asked walking over to me where I still held on tight to Paul.

“No I didn't smell any thing and they were glowing blood shot red.” I said as I started to cry.

“Paul what do you think?” Embry asked looking over at Paul.

“Here take her and I'll go check it out. Stay down here until I come back.” Paul said as he pushed me over to Embry who wrapped his arms around me.
