~Lisa's pov~

Paul let me go and I ate my food and went and sat down on the couch. Everyone was quite and kept looking at me and then at Sam. This went on for about an hour.

“Ok stop it that's annoying. If you guys have something to say then just say it.” I spat at them.

“What was that guy talking about and who was he?” Paul asked looking at me and Sam.

“That was Max Blake Johnstone, he's a wolf like us, he phased at 17. He has known Lisa and her brother Theodore since him and Lisa were very little. Max is also my half brother, we have the same dad but he took his mom's last name.” Sam said looking around.

“Ok but what was he talking about? What does he mean legend?” Jared asked leaning back in his seat.

“Lisa is the first female white wolf in her blood line not to mention she's the first female to phase. Her blood is poisonous to all leeches, one bite and they will burn from the inside out. Her body rejects the venom by bleeding it out, though it's still a very painful process just as if she were being turned into a leech. She will never stop phasing so therefore she will never grow old. Her mate or her imprint has to be a wolf as well. Since her imprint is Paul and he also imprinted on her, he to will never stop phasing. Their kids will be wolves as well and they will never stop phasing. Also since her and Paul have...mated, his body is just like hers, his blood is poisonous to all leeches and his body will bleed the venom out. Lisa has to marry a descended of Levi Uley. I know Paul great-grandmother Ruth is the sister of Levi Uley but it still has his blood. If she does not marry a descended then she will die at age 23 which is in 5 years. It has to be real true love not just the love of imprinting.” Sam said looking at his feet.

“What about the guy? What if he doesn't marry before he reaches age 23?” Jared asked as he looked over at Paul who has his head down.

“Nothing will happen to him he can live on, it's just Lisa who has to marry before age 23.” Sam said looking at me.

I stood up leaving the guys to their talk and I walked outside to let the cool breeze hit my face. I stuck my arms out to my side and spun around and around. I smiled and giggled, I felt like I was a 5 year old once again.

~Paul's pov~

Lisa walked out side I guess to get some air. Sam kept on telling us the legend about her. When he said that if she didn't marry by the age of 23 she would die, my heart broke so I lowered my head.

“Ok what about the leech with glowing red eyes? What's up with him?” Jake asked a little mad.

“When Lisa was born, the whole world was told. Every leech and every wolf was excited but in their own way. For leeches they want Lisa dead because she is a threat to them, but for us she is like a princess. When I was younger back when I first phased, Theodore brought Lisa here to visit one summer. Lisa was 5 at the time, she was playing in the back yard with Billy and Jake while me and Theodore were getting ready to go do patrol. Lisa screamed loud and ran into the house, hiding under her bed. We asked her what happened and she told us that she seen glowing red eyes in the woods and the looked like they were coming after her. Me and Theo searched and searched but we never found his sent. She seen the eyes again at age 7 when her and Theo was walking in the woods to her house where they living. I haven't heard about any more sightings involving the leech. We don't even know if it's a leech or not but we do know that it's also part of the legend. But the twist is only a Lahote from the Uley blood line can kill it. So you see, Paul destiny was to imprint on Lisa and to protect her from the glowing red eyes. When he's around it can't come near Lisa.” Sam said while looking at me.

“Paul, you remember that night? That could be the reason why we never seen it because you were the one who checked Lisa's room.” Embry said in a shocked tone.

“What are you two talking about?” Sam asked in a anger voice.

“The night me and Lisa got back from fishing while you guys did her room, Lisa was upstairs asleep while me and Embry were down here sleeping on the couches. Lisa screamed once which woke me and him up. We looked at each other then she screamed again. We jumped to our feet and the next thing I know she was holding onto me tight while looking up the stairs. She told us that she seen glowing red eyes out side her window and the when she got up to run out of her room, they opened her balcony door and were standing there. I handed her over to Embry and I went and checked her room out. I didn't see anything and I didn't smell a leech but there were [hand prints on her window and the balcony door was wide open. Sam, me and Embry checked on her before we went to sleep and she was out cold so I don't think she opened the door.” I said looking at him.

“Why didn't you guys tell me this sooner?” Sam said standing up pissed off.

“We didn't know it was out to kill her.” Embry said just as pissed of.

Before we could talk anymore about it, Lisa walked in soaking wet with a pissed off look on her face while Brady and Collin were laughing their heads off. Lisa was shaking trying to stay calm so she won't phase because of the baby. Sam stood up and looked at the three of them.

“What the hell happened Lisa?” Sam asked still pissed off.

“THE TWO PERVES THAT'S WHAT HAPPEND!” Lisa said as she stormed up stairs.

“What did you two do to her?” Sam asked walking slowly over to Brady and Collin.

“Brady here kicked the side of the house and the gutter broke and well that's how Lisa got soaked.”

“Go do patrol you two now.” Sam said as he left to go do patrol with them.

I stood up and went upstairs to where Lisa was. She wasn't in her room so I checked her bathroom and she was I the shower. I smiled and thought about getting in with her but I decided to just let her be and lay on her bed until she got out. I closed my eyes and laid there for a while until I felt someone sit on top of me. I opened my eyes to see Lisa staring back at me with her breath taking smile. I pulled her down and kissed deeply, I rolled us over so I was on top. We were making out when some one cleared their throat.
