~Lisa's pov~

I woke up the next morning to something really warm next to me. I rolled over and seen Seth laying there in wolf form sound to sleep. I looked at the time and it was only 6am so I snuggled up to Seth's wolf form and went back to sleep. I woke up a few hours later find that I was now snuggling up to big teddy bear. I smiled and laughed. I got up and went and took a shower and dressed in some comfy night pants and one of Paul's shirts. I walked down stairs yawning.

“My big fluffy dog got replaced by a big stuffed bear..huh?” I looked over at Seth who started laughing.

“Sorry Paul came in and woke me up for patrol.” Seth said as he looked down at his feet.

“It's ok, I slept good so that's good.” I smiled back at him and grabbed something to eat. “By the way where did you get the bit stuffed teddy bear from? I don't remember having one?”

“Well when Paul was on his was back here he asked if I was still in wolf form and I told him that I was and that I was being snuggled up to like a big stuffed teddy bear. So when he phased back he ran to the store and bought a big stuffed teddy bear and me and it switched spots.” Seth said while laughing.

I laughed and smiled. As I was about to eat I started sneezing my head off. Embry looked at me then he looked at Seth who walked over to me.

“There's a leech really really close by.” No sooner did I say that there was a knock at the back door.

Me, Embry, and Seth walked over to the door and I opened it to see a very old friend of mine from back before I moved here to live with Sam. It was my friend Max.

“Max what are you doing here?” I asked stepping out of the way.

“I needed to talk to Sam, I thought he lived here.” Max said as he walked in and looked around.

“He does but he's on patrol right now. Why what's wrong?” I asked still standing in the same spot I was in.

“I can't tell you Lisa I'm sorry, Theo would kill me if I did.” Max said looking at me.

Just as I was about to say something Sam, Jared, Paul, Jake, and Quil walked up. Since it was a friday Brady and Collin were at summer school. Sam seen the look on my face and then walked through the door first and looked around the corner until he seen Max.

“Max what are you doing here?” Sam asked in a very unhappy tone.

Max glared at Sam before he spoke.

“I needed to talk to about something personal.” Max said not taking his eyes off from Sam.

“Well what ever it is you can tell me here, I don't keep anything from my pack if it involves them in any way.” Sam said through clenched teeth while he stepped in front of me.

“You can't protect her forever you know that right Uley. Me and you use to be close just like you and Theo. But since she phased you've been a pain in the ass toward me.” Max stepped closer.

“My pack is stronger then yours and Theo knows that, that's why he sent her here in the first place. My ancestors have protected Lisa's family line for many generations.” Sam said as he put me completely behind him.

“The Uley blood line wasn't all that strong Samuel.” Max said through clenched teeth.

“My pack is not just the Uley blood line Maxwell, it's also the Black and Ateara blood lines.” Sam wrapped an arm around me while laid my head against his back.

“What?! No that can't be, since when?” Max said while taking a step back from shock.

“Since Ephraim Black's pack.” Sam never let his guard down.

“Well in that case your pack can handle that Glowing Red Eyed leech that's after Lisa.” Max said as he pushed passed Sam and out the back door. “One day Lisa you will be begging ME to protect you. Oh yea and Sam, I don't know who her imprint is and who imprinted on her, but she will be mine. You know the legend, Lisa HAS to marry a descended from the Levi Uley, and since you're married there's only me left.”

“That's where you're wrong Max, Lisa's imprint/imprintor IS a descended from Levi Uley and Paul Lahote is everything that the legend says, he is more fit then you any damn day.” Sam said pissed off.

“Lahote?! NO!” Max screamed as he phased and ran off into the woods.

Sam calmed down once he was gone and turn to look at me. He smiled and hugged me and then gave me over to Paul who held me close.
