chapter 39

Graysons POV

4 hours later and I landed in New Hampshire, and now I have to take take a bus to Jersey, which takes 6 hours.

All I want is to be there already. See her. And get to- nevermind.

I open the front pocket again and take out the object.

"E? You think she'll like it?" I asked and he had a huge smile on his face. "Yes!" he said and i smiled.

I flew my mom, sister and dad from jersey just for this. And I'm so nervous.
"How do you think they will react when I tell them?" I wuesyioned E and he grinned and patted my back. "I think they are gonna be proud." And gave me a hug.

This is a big step, but this time I'm ready.

I kept staring at the object, but the happy flashback took a turn. That day, was the day my fmaily flew in. But the day misa got into that fight and went to jail. I was so angry. So so angry... because I wanted that day to be special, but it wasn't. And then she left. And I never got to do what I wanted to do.

The bus came and I quickly put the item back safely in my bag and hopped on. Just 6 more hours...

Misas POV

I woke upcon the couch, my head pounding anf my stomach churning. I shot up and immediately regretted it.

I heard footsteps and saw my mom with a first aid kitand a furious face.
"Ma whats-" "I'm so disappointed in you! You could habe killed yourself misa! Do you understand?!" She started to yell and I held my head in my hands. I didnt remember anything, but this has happened before.

"Ma, I'm sorry."I whispered and she sat down next to me. "It's Grayson isnt it? Is that why you came back?" she asked and i looked at herwith glassy eyes. "W-what- No I don't know what you are talking about." I lied. "Misa... I know This is about him." She said and a tear rolled down my cheek.

"He was there."I said and her eyes widened. "He goes to college with you?" She asked shocked and I nodded
"We- we saw each other... And...and I told him. I had to. " I said and she held me. " we are back together ma. Well were. I fucked up. I fucked up big time."I confessed and she was confused. "What did you do?" She asked and I let go of her. "...Sarah came to Cali..." Is all I had to say for her to understand. "I went to jail...." I had to tell her and that's when she flipped her shit.

"Misa what the fuck?!?!" She yelled standing up. I didnt say anything because i didny have to explain myself to anyone else. She took a breath and calmed down. And kneeled before me and grabbed my hands. "Its going to be okay. Bht know its okay to not be okay. But numbing yourself from the pain will only make it worse." She said calmly and  I nodded.

I was laying down on my bed, contemplating my decisions. Why did I leave? I could have just broken up with him, but stayed there. I could have talked to him about it.

I couldn't imagine how he was feeling right now, and I dont want to. But maybe I can know.

"Misa?" Ana screamed. 

"Im coming home."
