Double Trouble

chapter 40

"Misa n-" I quickly hung up and started packing again. I heard my phone ring but I ignored it and got my suitcases that were still packed.

I ran down the stairs and as I did my suitcase flipped and tumbled down  the stairs almost breaking. I picked it up and as i did I saw a small black item on the ground. Oh my god!his ring. I forgot I had that. I slipped iy onto my thumb and grabbed my keys. "Misa? Honey where are you going?" my mom asked and I looked at her with sorry eyes. "Ma, I have to go back to him. I have to fix this." I said and she nodded and opened her arma for a hug. I squeezed her, said my goodbyes and headed out the door.

My uber came in 2 minutes and I threw my luggage in the back with me and closed the door. "Airport please, step on it." She nodded and sped down the rode.

Grayson POV
6 hours later...

I got off the bus and called for an uber.

4 minutes later he came and I told him Misas home address and I headed there.

I wondet what gonna happen? Is she gonna hate me for following her? Push me out? Or is she gonna be happy? All i want to do is convince her to come home. And- "alright here we are." He said and i thanked him.

I ran up the familiar driveway and to the door. I knocked on it vigorously and I hear it unlock. And the door swing open slowly and it was her mom.

"Omg Grayson!" She said shocked and I pushed past her letting myself in. "Where's misa?" I asked and i ran up the stairs to her room. I swung open the door to see an empty bedroom.

I walk back downstairs and search the house but I cant find her. "Wheres misa?"i ask again and het mother lokks me straight in the face and perces her lips. "She went back to calif. For you." She said and I flipped my shit. "What?!?nononononono she couldnt have I'm here for her!!!" I raised my voice and her mom rubbed my arm and told me to calm down.

I sat on the chair and put my hand on the desk, setting the black suade box on the counter, exposed.

"Grayson?" Her mom said and I faced her bravely.

"Miss King... I'm in love with your daughter. And I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I know I left her before and I screwed up, but i promise you it wont happen again.I will be by her side every minute and I will never fuck up- sorry- I mean I will never screw up again..."

Misas POV

I got out of the uber, regretting it because it started to poor rain.

I ran into the airport and took off my coat. Okay all I need is a last minute ticket. I dug in my purse for my wallet... Fuck! I quickly ran outside to see if my uber was still there and luckily it was, trapped between to cabs.

I swing open the door and searched the backseat with no luck. Goddammit it must of fell out when my suitcase dropped down the stairs.

"I need you to take me back home. Please." I asked the lady and she nodded.
