Double Trouble

chapter 21

I sat in class, bored out of my mind. It was about 1:50, which means 10 more damn minutes. I tapped my pencil slightly against the desk and glared exhaustingly at the bored. Everyone there was bored as well. Some even asleep.

Finally, after what seemed like a blink of an eye, the professor dismissed class. I guess I dozed off for that ten minutes.

I packed up my things slowly, making sure I had everything then headed out the door.

I struggled to unlock the door, but eventually succeeded, stumbling in due to my tiredness. I threw my books and bag on the ground and sat on my bed.

"Misa? Can we talk please?" I heard ana speak softly as she sat up in her bed. I glowered at her with tired eyes and nodded.

" look we didnt do anything. Trust me I would never ever ever do that to you. You are my bestfriend. " she said and I nodded. "Then why were you over there?" I gave her a hard questioning stare. " I needed to talk to him, about you." She said and looked at me. Hmmm. " then Why were you wearing his shirt and on his bed?" I said rudely, not really meaning to.

" we had a few snacks, as we were talking and I got some Doritos dust on my white shirt and it stained." She said then got up and handed me the nice white shirt with stained chip dust.

I glared at it. " you sure you didn't plan this whole lie with gray then rub dust on the shirt?"I gave a half smile and she scoffed. " yea of course Misa I would rub nasty Doritos dust on this expensive ass shirt." She laughed and so did I. "Okay, I believe you." I said and she sighed in relief. We hugged but then her face went glum.

" what is it?" I asked and she cleared her throat. " I got a call."she said then fell silent. "Sooo??"I asked wanting more information.

" it was your mom." She said and I was confused. Why didnt she call me. I checked my phone quickly and saw that I had a couple missed calls from her. I never called back because I was busy and totally forgot. "what did she want?" I asked.

" your dad is out." She said and my mouth dropped. " w-what?"I asked in shock and she perced her lips. " he got out for good behavior..." She said and I was freaked. "How the hell!" I raised my voice and she got startled. "Misa...." She said serious and then almost started to cry. " he found out about Daniel....and..." She said and I started crying.

" no! No he didn't." I said and she shook her head. " hes in the hospital. He needed immediate surgery. " she said crying. Her and and my family were close. She was practically like my sister. And Daniel and my mom were like her parents she was always over when they got together and they treated her like their daughter. So it hurt her to hear about it and for my mom to have to call her instead of me.

I quickly dialed my mom but then I heard a knock on the door, and ana opened it. " mom i-" " hi sorry I missed your call, leave me a message." I hung up and threw my phone on the bed. I hope hes alright. And for her to deal with this alone, was horrible. Especially when my dad was the one who did it. The guy who beat me and almost killed me.

Grayson walked in and I turned to see him, his face was sad...he knew she told me. I ran to him and just hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my body and set his chin on my head. "I'm sorry." He whispered and tears slipped out of my ducts.

I released and faced both of them. "I'm so sorry for accusing you guys of doing anything together, I should of trusted you both." I apologized.

Then they looked at eachother and gave each one dirty faces of disgust. "trust me misa, I wouldnt do anything with him, his brother is cuter." She whispered the last part and I giggled.
" ill leave y'all alone to talk for a bit." Ana said then walked out.

I looked at Gray and he looked at me. "soo... What did we need to talk about?" I asked and he thought. Then he sighed. It was about 2:30, and I was tired. But I needed to know what he had to say.

" I wanted to do this but...." He confessed and I was confused. "what?" I croaked out and he turned to me. "I want us to work..." He looked at me and my lips parted. " but... I know about you and Ethan." He said and I was in shock. "What about us?" I questioned and he scoffed.

" Ik about the moment, all of it. How you almost screwed eachother. And At the party, How you looked at him. And Then how you look at me, like Im wounded and just a mess." He said and he started getting angry.

What the fuck? Why did this just turn to hell. " me and Ethan agreed that what happened meant nothing, and it was in the past. He knows how I feel about you gray." I said coldly and he shook his head. " you don't get it misa." He yelled a bit and I flinched. "get what!?" I yelled a bit as well.

" I'm the bad kid. Why do you think I got sent to the U.S? why I was in jersey? I'm a dissapointment and i still am. Ethan was good. And every girl I was with, ended up with him. My last ex fell in Love with him. Hell, ana just said my brother is better. " he started yelling and I was confused. Why was he just now expressing this. Why now. Why after I just found out my dad almost killed my sort of  step dad. Why after a whoel of us being together two years ago, he just now confesses. Was it because I didnt know Ethan existed?

" why are you so angry?! Why the fuck are you saying this now?!" I yelled and he raised his voice even louder this time.

" BECAUSE IM IN LOVE WITH YOU AND I NEVER STOPPED. AND IM AFRAID OF LOSING YOU AGAIN!"

You are probably confused to why I quickly turned the moment into a yelling fest but it needed to be done.

Grayson was afraid that since misa and Ethan were hanging out now, and he remembered they had a moment,he thought he was losing her to him. Because of his mistakes he has made.

If you guys are confused ill probably add a little background chapter about Grayson back home with his family. I didnt add it in the last book because it was just about misa and gray. Now Ethan is presented so I feel its necessary. Idk yet.

But anyways yea this is shit sorry 😂
