" can I have 3 pink driiiin-"

Oh shit.

I froze. Complete stillness. Blankness.

His hazel eyes staring at me. His toned body, standing in front of me.

I closed my eyes, maybe he will go away. I opened them but he was still there. Just staring. I had a lump in my throat that seemed to prevent me from talking. And It felt like hot coals were burning a fire in my chest. Unexpected company, in unexpected time.

"Misa, hi." He said in a akward, but deep calm voice.

" its been a minute." He said with a smile. I smiled back but couldn't help but feel a sense of akwardness and loneliness.

"Hey Misa, need help?" Lenny asks as he walks over to me. I look at him and smile. " no I'm good, thanks though." I say and I smile. He looks at him up and down than at me. Lenny leaves and its just us again.

" whos that?" He asks. " employee." I say Not making eye contact. He nods without response.

Pause. Silence.

" so can I have 3 pink drinks please?" He asks. "Oh yea duh sorry." I low-key studder. I fiddle with the register but manage to make it work.

" can I ask a question?" He asks. I nod.

" what happened?" He asks and I shake my head. " he hasnt told you?" I ask and he shrugs and shakes his head. " well its a long story... Um here are your drinks." I say as I hand him the cup holder with the drinks. He thanks me and before he leaves he turns back around.

" I wont tell." He says and i smile back. " bye misa." He says. " bye Ethan."

My shift ended, finally. Its about 8pm and I'm exhausted.

I headed to my car and headed to the dorms. As i was driving, all I could think about was him. Why would Ethan be here? Does that mean he is here? Wait but why are they here? If there is a they.

Honk! honk! " what the fuck you paddy wagon bitch!" I yelled as the car in the lane next to me decided to I guess switch lanes and almost run my ass side the road. I flick them off.

Then minutes later they break, in the middle of the highway. I honk again, like 5 times. And start cussing under my breath. What is this dudes deal. Drunk? Or stupid?

Graysons POV
6 hours earlier...

" 3 pink drinks." I told Ethan and he nodded his head.

" are you sure you need 2 drinks man?" He asked and I nodded my head.

10 minutes later...

" what took so long." I asked as he got into the passengers seat. " I got caught up." He said and I gave him a look. He shook his head and sipped his drink.

Now...

We went to the store to get some food and some utilities for the dorm and then we headed back.

The whole ride back to the dorms he was quiet and weird.

" whats up?" I finally ask and he shakes it off. " bro come on?" I urge him but he is quiet.

Then finally he breaks the silence.
" what happened with you and Misa?"

And I swerved a almost ran a car off the road. They beep at me like 3 Times but I honestly didnt give a fuck.

" why are you asking?" I asked him. He put his drink that he was sipping down but it tipped and it spilt on the floor. I breaked on accident which caused another dilemma of honking from the car behind me.

" Ethannnn!" I raised my voice annoyed. He flinched at nothing then apologized. " shit sorry." I rolled my eyes in frustration.

"You never told me what happened. " he said to me and I was silent.

" nothing happened. " I said curtly, gripping the steering wheel harshly to control my anger. " bullshit." He said annoyed.

" fine." I said as I pulled into the dorm. The car behind me also pulled into the dorm parking lot but parked a few spots down on the left. I ignored it.

I sat there, in silence. Before I could have the courage to tell him what happened. The reason we arent together anymore.

"Shes pregnant. Well has a kid now. And it's mine." I confess as I look straight ahead and into the abyss of darkness that surrounded the dorms.

"Grayson. What. The. Fuck!" Ethan yelled at me which caught me by surprise. " are you kidding me! You got her pregnant! Then just left!" He raised his voice and it boomed throughout the car. " look I didnt intend to okay." I said calmly but annoyed. " Dude you have a kid! And didn't tell me! Or mom! Hell even dad!" He yelled upset and annoyed.

" its none of y'alls business and besides, I'm Not ready to be a dad. I was 17!" I raised my voice. He gripped his hair with his hands and slid them down his face.

" but i didnt see a kid..." He whispered to himself and that caught me off guard. " what?" I asked looking at him. " huh?" He asked trying to cover up his accidental slip. " what the fuck did you just say?!" I raised my voice at him.

"I didnt see a kid." He said again but in a calm voice. " what do you mean you didn't SEE a kid?" I asked very seriously. He gulped then hesitated.

" uh when I saw her last in Jersey. Before we left. She had a flat stomach." He said. I let put a breath.
" Ethan, you are so fucking stupid" I rolled my eyes ans he laughed akwardly. He is hiding something. I can feel it.

Ethan's POV
Phew... Good save E. Good save

Authors note: I was gonna let E tell Gray but I wanted it to take a while until they meet again. Because it has to be dramatic. Like the twins themselves. Lmao.
