8-Dusty

Two soldiers were checking out inside the cavern carefully. One of them yawned and started to complain about the mission about finding some strange men.

"Oh, hell, seriously, why do we have to find them?"

"Shut up and just do your job."

"Whatever..."

After finding nothing, they left there to check out the other places. After they left, some strange things started to happen in the cavern. The earth was moving, yes, it was seriously moving. After a while, Feliks came out from the ground, Toris was also just next to him. Both of them were coughing because of the dust.

"We...We were lucky, the earth was soft... I could dig it just in time...ah..hah..."

"Yeah..."

"Like we are zombies...ahah..."

Toris could stand on his feet again when he tried once or twice. However, Feliks was still worried about him even though Toris said that he was okay. When the soldiers outside were gone after a little while, they started to go on their way. However, this time they had to hide after the shrugs and trees on the way, because soldiers still could be anywhere anymore and they had to finish this hide-and-seek as soon as possible.

"I guess we're almost there..."said Feliks.

"I hope so."

They kept walking without saying even a single word for a while after that. They were trying to get rid of the dust on their bodies while walking. It wasn't because of they thought that the earth was a dirty thing, no, infact they lived whole their lives running between weath fields and playing with earth. It was just an ordinary threat that every people could do. They had to breathe correctly, so it would be a trouble if they swallow some dust, wouldn't it be? They were really tired of walking, sweating and worrying if there was someone that was watching or following them.

"Liet, like, we can made it, just a little more..."

"Are you sure that we are on the correct way?"

"Of course, this place is just huge, sorry for not telling it earlier, are you okay?"

"I'm okay, but, you look tired I think?"

"No, seriously... I'm great, Poland must be so!"

"Ahah..."replied Liet.

They didn't say a word just for a little while. Then, Feliks cleared his throat and got prepared his lips to say something.

"Actually, yeah, I remember how this place made me tired many times in the past. When I was just a little child... A little country that was just playing around fearless, thinking that there wasn't nothing to worry about... I also had dreams back then. I was dreaming about having a friend..."

Toris felt that his heart was getting warmer by every little phonemes of his friend's vocal cords. However, he couldn't feel the happiness yet, he was afraid of something bad would be happened before they leave the area around the mountain. He didn't want to talk. Infact he wanted to seal his mouth just for a while, at least until Feliks' speech ends. However, a weird feeling inside him, took his control and forced him to use his tongue and vocal cords.

"P-Poland... I'm sorry for interrupting you... But really, I don't think both of us as friends anymore... Well, no... Not as best friends... I mean..."he was stuttering too much. His face was full of red color. He tried to gather himself up, shaking his head horizantally. It isn't the right time, he thought. However, he was feeling that something bad was going to happen so soon.

"Are you okay?"

"Please would you accept me... Or at least... I dunno..."said he stopping his steps slowly.

"Liet?"

The Lithuanian man put one of Feliks' hands on his, took a certain finger and pulled something from his pocket. After he showed that thing to Feliks, the blond man got shocked. There was a tiny and cute gold ring between Toris' trembling fingertips. He put the ring on Feliks' finger. Both of them felt like they were going to cry, with all their strength, with all their lungs... Feliks was the one who suddenly embraced the other one. Toris replied him by giving a tighter hugging.

It was the last time they hugged each other...
