(As the title suggests, there was a list of words we had to choose from and write about. I chose Paranoia, as I sometimes get minor paranoid thoughts as written below and figured it'd make for an interesting story)
All eyes glare at me. They all stare with judgment clouding their faces as they whisper behind my back. I don't know what they say, surely terrible things. What toxic words do they say about me? The air closes in. I'm too vulnerable. I'm too open. May I be held as the empty spaces fill me with suffocating fear? Where is my company? Why won't they speak? 5 minutes, 10, 20 minutes more, surely they're dead, kidnapped, surely they aren't okay or they'd be back right now, right? I can see the backs of heads facing away, unaware of my presence. My company spoke to me even seconds ago. But it doesn't make a difference, this is Paranoia, and seldom does the demon make a rational thought.
