Halloween Acrostic (Headless)

(This is, as the title states, an acrostic poem! Written for the word "Pumpkin" about the Headless Horseman. This was a partner project, in which my partner kinda sorta overtook my own words, hence the writing not being similar to the other entries. Honestly I'm not even sure any of this is my writing. Kinda ticked off about that. But alas, it is within the physical journal, and so it will be here)


Plump, round orbs, laying among the leaves of the ground,

Underneath the Harvest Moon's equally orange light.

Murderous man without a head,

Places the orb upon his shoulders.

Killing innocents from atop his infamous steed,

Ichabod Crane, the only one to escape the fury of the Headless Shadow... as it was,

Never able to cross the waters that flow.
