Kerimnia

(I chose Kerimnia as my writing prompt from the previous entry. Fun fact, Kerimnia was the first full story I ever tried writing back in 7th grade! I forgot all the major points, though, and so it currently remains unfinished and unpublished in my wattpad creations list. I never forgot the base idea, though, and so I took this chance to use the prompt to at least give a little life to my first story idea, "Kerimnia: The Children Of Myth")

The land was full of Light;barely a Shadow in sight. All creatures lived in relative harmony, and seldom did war rage on. It all changed when that demon arrived. Our land of magic held no strength against him. The faeries' purest spell, the dragons' hottest breath, the elves' sharpest arrow, none of it could stop or even wound the great Shadow. We, the Guardians, were the last defense, but when he cast his dark art, changing mighty beast to nothing more than a petty woodland rodent, we were forced to send away the only hope we had. Years later, the newborn twins would come and save us. So many years, a millennia of Shadow brought to Light. Maya and James have finally arrived, and we can only pray they will save us; we Kerimnians and our Children of Myth.
