It was a long journey
To the haunted beach
But I remember well
The journey through darkness
Here it's always night
The haunted beach has no need
For things such as light
There's just sand
The waves
The stars
And rarely the samurai
And their ancient wars
They seem like distant memories
Come out as dreams and reveries
While basking in the moonlight
The waves crash over and over
The pale sand shines
In its eerie reflection
The hollow armours fight
The battle never ends
As there's no light
No hell no master
No flesh for swords to rend
The icy eyes of the long dead
Lighting up the ancient helms
The battle standards raised
The battle never ends
Be quick be war
And hold on to your sword
Your blade's your only friend
In this forgotten world
Let the edge guide your hand
And strike with the force of thousands
Let the grip lead the dance of death
The weight and balance will give you grace
Cut down the hollow warriors
Scatter them to the 4 winds
And leave no trace
For they could never die
But yearn to be free
While the battle never ends
Their end lies unto thee
The rusty swords crumble to rust
The ancient leather falters to dust
There's nothing left but silent ghosts
Just one of them stands out
He whispers softly songs of war
Ishiguro the dancing blade
A hero long forgotten
His armour and blade crumbled
His body was long rotten
But his spirit still resides
Unbroken by time or battle
Untouched by the passing of time
But so am I now
I've lost track
There are no days
Just endless night
The stars give us
All the light
No hunger no thirst
We all just watch the stars
As Ishiguro hums is wars
The haunted beach is quiet now
The battle is over
Unlife has just begun
