In the break of dawn
Light seeps through
And bathes the eerie fog
Waters turn the mighty wheels
Here and there you see the mills
Forests making room for crops
As the greenery covers the hills
The leaf falls pray to the wind
The branches twist and snap
Nothing's left untouched
In the wake of nature's hymn
Off beaten paths and dusty plains
The touch of man fades
And all you have accomplished
It's all nothing more than a breath
A breath that's spent
When all creation crumbled to dust
When all your shiny swords fall into rust
Until the day the void
Consumes us all
And brings eternal night
No eerie light
No sounds
No voices
Nothingness forevermore
