Hey guys! I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting- life has been absolutely hectic!
This song has been one of my favorites for the longest time. I so often feel like the world is falling down around me, like everything is going wrong. I so often feel like God has abandoned me. I cry out to the Lord, why? Why is this happening to me?
I've undergone so many trials this past year. It's been full of suffering, anguish, tears, despair, a broken heart, and the loss of 2 of some of the dearest people in my life. I've had to go through suffering after suffering. I felt like it would never end. Like God had forsaken me.
This song helped me to realize that God has a plan for your life. That no matter how horrible life feels at the moment, He has good things in store for you, so you just have to trust Him and say "Lord, Thy will be done." These are the lyrics:

Even when life is hard, we have to understand that Jesus is God, that he understands and knows things that we don't or could never comprehend. Though we may think life is turning against us, we have to trust that Jesus knows what's good for us, and that He works for our good, as it says in Romans 8:28:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 says this:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has a plan for your life. You could never comprehend the depths of His understanding. So sometimes, you just have to trust Him. Know that he loves you, and that he is working for your good. Though my broken heart turned my world upside down and caused months of misery, it tore down an idol I had been building up and brought me closer to the Lord. I never realized that until 4 months afterwards. At the time, I just felt like life was cruel. When my 2nd mother was taken from me, I never realized that God had been working for my good until a month later, when I finally understood that I had been going to her for comfort instead of going to Jesus. I never realized I had been unconsciously building up another idol until God tore it down for me.
He has a plan, and He is always working for your good. So when you feel miserable, when you're suffering, when you're full of hurt, sadness, despair, or anguish, just realize that he has goodness in store for you. I encourage you to listen to this song, read these verses, and know that He has plans for your life, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. So rest in His peace, knowing that He is in control.
