"This is literally the best decision I have ever made."
I laughed. "You sure do looked relaxed."
"Remind me why men don't do this more often?"
"Masculinity."
He laughed. I dipped my feet in the fresh hot water sighing in relief. Taehyung wasn't kidding about his all day date. By the time I woke up this morning he had the pedicure schedule for both of us, the movie tickets bought, a beach bag packed, and reservations made for dinner. I don't know when he had the time to do it all, because I woke up shortly after he did.
I turned my head to look at Tae and I had to stifle a giggle. His head was leaned back and his eyes were closed. His feet were soaking in soapy and salty hot water, and his sleeves where half way rolled up his forearm. He hummed in contentment and looked back towards me with a smile.
"We should do this regularly." He said.
"Every other Saturday." I smiled back to him.
He extended his arm out to me. "Deal." I shook his hand.
The pedicure was amazing. I felt so relaxed and my toes were clean and nicely painted.
"What color did you get, Noona?" I wiggled my toes towards him so he could see. "Black?" He asked a bit confused.
"Surprised?"
"Kinda. It's a very elegant color though." He said with a smile.
"I'm glad you think so." I looked down at his feel knowing there would be no color on his toenails but I pouted anyway. "No color? I'm a little disappointed."
He laughed. "I'll you what, the day, if it comes, that we move in together, I'll let you paint my toenails."
I raised an eyebrow at the suggestion, but smiled and reached my hand out. He shook it once firm as I spoke. "Deal."
I put my sandals back on and as I was reaching for the wallet in my purse Taehyung approached me. "Come on, Noona It's movie time!" he said rubbing his hands together.
"Give me one minute, I have to pay."
"No you don't. I took care of it."
I turned quickly towards him. "You what?"
"I paid already. Come on, Noona. MOVIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" he said as he pulled on my arm.
I allowed him to drag me out of the nail salon but not without protest. As he pulled me I spoke sternly. "Kim Taehyung why did you pay for me?"
He kept pulling but didn't look at me. "Because this is a date, Noona. I was planning on paying."
"But I was going to do this date or no date..."
He stopped and turned to face me planting a quick kiss on my lips. "Don't be all 'no date' blah blah....this is a date...and I pay for dates."
He turned back pulling me again towards the movie theature but I pulled back on his arm making him stop and face me. "You are not paying for this entire day." I said in a stern voice.
"Watch me." He said pulling me again.
"Taehyung!"
"What?"
"That isn't why I agreed to this date!" I protested even more.
I watched him sigh heavily stopping to turn towards me. "Look, Noona." He started looking at me with a serious look. "Our next date you can pay for if you want. It's not about money...it's about having fun and being together."
