Chapter 7 - Choco Coronet

"So how was last night Anon?"
Makoto asked me before greeting me infront of the school gates.

"It was okay i guess" I replied in a tedious way. He didn't even bother to greet me at all, but it didn't really bother me.

"Why does it look like you always have a bad look on your face Anon?"

"That's just how my face looks. Gloomy"

"I wouldn't say gloomy... It kinda resembles the expression on Aoba Moca-san rather"

At that moment i stopped and memories from last night flashed back into my head.

"You were with them last night right? I had to go down a different path sadly, so i couldn't escort them myself" said Makoto with a prideful look on his face.

"That was for the best" I replied in a joking manner. We went on talking about last night's event for the rest of the day.

During lunch, me and Makoto decided to eat lunch together, so we went up to the rooftop (cliché?) So we could enjoy a little fresh air breeze. "Why the rooftop?"I asked. "It doesn't seem like anyone else would be here" He replied.

A pretty odd choice for a place to eat, but i didn't mind, it was pretty quiet. While we were eating, he began to ask me questions regarding last night.

"So, what do you think?"

"Think of what?"

" Your childhood friend, Tae Hanazono"

"What about Tae?"

"C'mon! She's soo beautiful! Sure she may be a bit of an air head but she's a really great girl! I'm enviousof you having her as a childhood friend"

"What was that all about? We're just childhood friends. We've been close for a long time now."

"Do you visit each others house sometimes?"

"I used to visit hers"

"Alone?!"

"Her family was there"

"Have you been visiting her recently?"

"Yeah, just last night i went and stayed over since my apartment was loc-"

Not realizing what i had said, i was certain that Makoto will have the wrong idea in his head. "YY-Y-OU! HOW DID IT GO?!?!" Exclaimed Makoto in a curious way. "It's not like that you pervert!" I replied.

We went on talking for the rest of lunch. And before i knew it, we became close friends.

Moca's P.O.V

*Distracted in class*

I stare outside at the class window that i set beside on. My head is else where, I can't focus in class. Not like i usually do anyways.
"What's up Moca?" Ran asks me. "Nothing at all~" I replied. This has been going on since this morning, I wonder what's up? Maybe I'm just tired.

*Bell rings signaling Lunch*

"Hey Ran! Want to visit Yamabuki Bakery on our way home?" I asked Ran. She thinks about it for a second, but decides to come with me anyways. "Sure, let's do that" I can always count on Ran to be there for me"

Reader's P.O.V

It's near the end of the school day. Aside from Makoto bugging me all day, nothing pretty much nice happened. Just your regular school day. Is this what it's like to have a regular high school life? It's a bit.... Boring.... The thought that I'd actually think about high school life like that kinda bugs me. Honestly, i thought it'd be a bit more exciting. So far, only the LIVE from LIVE House CiRLE was memorable for me. I got to meet some new friends, and reunite with an old friend of mine, Tae!

"Wait a second...."

I think about the recent LIVE and about my involvement with Afterglow.

"Miitake...Ran... Where have i..."

And without knowing it, Makoto gives me a slap on the back.

"HEEYYY!! ANON!!! Let's visit Yamabuki Bakery! They have a Sale going on!" Screamed Makoto. I didn't realize that the bell already rang and that everyone's been going out of the room one by one. It's time to go home. "Okay then, what's this sale about?" I asked Makoto as i agreed to join him on his food quest. "Yamabuki bakery's ever famous Choco Coronet is on sale! You must taste them!" Replied Makoto. Since i had nothing else to do, we then head out for Yamabuki Bakery.

Moca's P.O.V

*Me and Ran walking down the road*

"So, why did you wanna visit Yamabuki Bakery all of a sudden?" Ran asked me as i was sorting out my point cards. "That's a lot of points..." Ran quickly added. "You see Ran... Yamabuki Bakery has a Choco Coronet Sale at the moment. And i need to get my hands and stomach on them, so let's hurry up!" I reply as i grab Ran's hand to run on ahead.

Reader's P.O.V

What is a Choco Coronet? I ask myself. It seems like a bread with chocolate. I then doubted my minds ability to imagine things and asked Makoto instead. "What is a Choco Coronet?" After a brief silence.. "I must save you...." He then grabs my hand and starts to dash off. "H-Hey! Slow down!"

After a few minutes, we arrive at Yamabuki Bakery. Tired. "We're here..." Makoto said as he was panting hard. "So this is it huh..." I replied as i was trying to catch my breath. The bakery was a fine looking one. Two-way glass with their breads displayed on the other side. They looked very delicious and appetizing.

And without further ado, we then went inside to buy some bread. However....

"CHOCO CORONET SALE HERE I AM!!" Screamed Makoto as we enter the shop. "Could you not? I don't want people to think I'm with a crazy person" "Oi." Makoto replied.

Then, the girl at the counter walked up to us and said "Sorry, one costumer kinda bought out last 5 stocks"

I was curious to ask who the person was, then the girl pointed to the counter.

"This is great Ran! I thought there was no more left!" Said Moca as she express her happiness in buying the last few breads.

"Aoba-san?, Miitake-san?" I asked them to check if it was them. "Ahh! Anon-kun!" Moca replied.

I knew it was them. I don't know why but i could tell it was Moca immediately.

"What brings you two here?" Ran asked us.

"Makoto and i was about to go and buy some Choco Coronet, but it seems like..."
Before i could finish my sentence, Makoto interrupted me.
"It seems like we lost..." He looks like he's in pain. Of course i said that jokingly.

"Would you want some Anon-kun?" Moca asked me.

"Eh?!" Ran exclaimed.

What's this about?

And before i knew it, Moca puts a Choco Coronet into my mouth

"Ah." Exclaimed Moca.
