Chapter 5 - I can't seem to remember

"Anon-kun..."

"Huh?"

"You player"
Said Moca with a smug on her face as she closes the door on me.

After all of that, i decided not to come in and let the mood cooldown a bit. I realized that if i had stepped in the same time Ran and and Moca-san entered, everyone would've had weird thoughts.

While i was outside, i checked my phone for the time cause i didn't have a watch with me. "It's already 10:54 PM..." It's already pretty late, and i still have school tomorrow, i should probably get going. I put away my phone in my pocket and entered the room.

As i entered the room, everyones eyes were on me. I wonder what's up? "What is it?" I ask them. "I didn't know you were that kind of guy..." Makoto said in a disappointed tone. What does he mean by that? "Hitting on two girls at once..." Said Himari-san. "And they're both pretty cute too" Tomoe-san said. Everyone nods as a sign that they all agree with each other. "What are you guys saying?" I ask them one more time. "We were all shocked to know that you said that both Moca-chan and Ran were cute" Tae replied. "I swear i didn't mean it like that!" I exclaimed. "I just thought that they're...oh what the heck. It's getting pretty late so I'm just gonna go". "Oh, you're right! We still have classes tomorrow, we'd better get back soon!" Makoto said. "The topic has changed just like that?!"

"Where do you live, Anon-kun?" Tae asked. I told her that i live up an apartment near the school. We all decided that it is time to go home. We all went out the Live House while the others started closing down. Tae was left since she still had things to do. Makoto goes down a different route from where i go to. "Hey Anon! Mind walking Ran and Moca home? Me and Himari have something to do." Asked Tomoe. "I-I have to to too! I'll see you next time!" Said Tsumugi as she runs off ahead of us. She could've waited for us though... "Sure I don't mind" I answered. Tomoe, Himari, and Tsumugi have left. It was down to me, Moca, and Ran. A thought popped into my head. (Wait!, It's just the three of us now!) "Where should i drop you two?" I asked them to somehow smoothen the atmosphere between the three of us. "You can see us off near Haneoka High." Replied Ran. Suddenly, Ran's phone rang. We stopped and she checked what was up. "Sorry, something came up, i have somewhere to be, you two go on ahead!" Ran said. She then rushed off in the opposite direction from the both of us. "What was that about?" I asked myself. "I might have a guess...." Moca replied. We went on without talking to each other until we arrived at Haneoka High. "Mind seeing me all the way Anon-kun?" Moca asked. I thought to myself, I guess i still have the time to walk her home but...is that really alright? No no no, it isn't safe to leave a girl alone walking at night, i guess I'll be seeing her all the way then. "Sure thing" I replied.

Meanwhile....

Ran arrives at a coffee shop. "Okay, what's the emergency?" Ran asked while panting. She seemed to have ran all the way into the coffee shop to meet the other members. They were all staring at Ran with a smile and smug faces. "Seriously...." Ran sighed.

Meanwhile....

While me and Moca were walking, she began asking me some questions. "Hey Anon-kun..." I then replied. "What is it?".
"What do you like about Ran?" She asked me bluntly. "What gave you that idea?!" I asked her back. "Well, if you're planning on dating our Vocalist, I'd better see if the guy is capable of handling Ran!" Said Moca with a smug look on her face. "I don't like Miitake-san like you think." I explained. "Then how come your eyes were following her awhile ago?" She asked me. I stopped and pondered. That is true, I can't deny that fact that i was staring at her quite a lot a while ago. "It's not like that. I just she's cute." I replied. "Oh?" Retorted Moca while keeping her smug face intact. "But there's something more... I feel like I've seen her before..." I said. That's what I've been thinking all this time. Have i actually met her before? Was that why i was a little casual with her awhile ago? I mean, i had the courage to say that she was cute and all that. But i can't seem to remember meeting her.

"Could you have bumped into Ran before you bumped into me?" Moca asked. I denied it. "I'm pretty certain that's not it..."

Meanwhile....

"EEHHH?!?!" said everyone from what they heard Ran just said. "He was a childhood friend of yours?!" Tsumugi asked. "Yeah, I don't know how i recalled him but as soon as i saw him...i knew it was him." Ran replied. "But Anon-kun doesn't seem to remember you all that much.." Himari said. "I guess he's just forgotten about me" Ran replied. "More importantly.... Why did you call me here for no good reason?!" Retorted Ran. "I told you! It was to let those two have a bit of alone time" Tomoe answered. "I know that but..." "What's this? Would you be jealous that Moca will be taken away from you?" Asked Himari. "No, that's not quite it" answered Ran. "Or perhaps it's the other way around...?" Asked Tomoe. "Not a chance..." Ran replied. Ren then left the coffee shop to go home while the others stayed for a bit longer.

Meanwhile....

As we arrive at Moca's place, i see her off and went to walk back to my place. I feel my pockets if i have the keys to my apartment with me. "Wait a second..."
