It has never been this awkward between Michael and I. Never.
"Madi, it doesn't have to be awkward between us. We just both really wanted it, and it happened. It was a one time thing. We both filled our needs." Michael says like he just read my mind.
"I guess you're right." I slightly smile. Truth is, I don't want it to be a one time thing. I want it to be an every time thing. I want Michael.
"Yeah. Aren't you going to go talk to Blake?" Seriously? We just had sex and that's all you can say?
"Oh, Uhm, yeah. I am." I get up, put shoes on, and head to the door.
"Madi, where are you going?" Calum asks when I turn the knob.
"To talk to Blake." I quietly say. Maybe I am a whore..
"But, you and Michael-"
"I know. I'm a whore." I open the door, and walk out. It hurt coming out of my own mouth. Maybe its true though.
"Madi, I never said that." Calum follows me out the door.
"No, half of Sydney did and so did I. Its okay if you think the same. I have to go now." I slowly walk towards the sidewalk. I know exactly where Blake is so, I don't even bother to call him.
I kick a few rocks down the sidewalk as I make my way to Maggie's Bakery. I'm still in Michael's clothes, and his sweatpants keep falling off.
I open the entrance door, and slowly walk in. I take a window seat and wait for him to take his five minute break. He seen me walk in, and it was awkward.
Blake makes his way over to me and sits across from me. "Hey."
"Hi. I'm sorry for yesterday. Michael and I, we're just friends." I say. I still can't believe it after what happened last night. "I didn't mean any of it. But, that slap, I meant it."
"Yeah, that kind of hurt. I deserved it, though. You're not a whore, Madi. I was just angry you wouldn't sleep with me." Blake runs his fingers through his hair.
"Yeah, now you know how I felt when I found out you had a daughter. And you cheated on me."
"I know, I never should have."
"Yeah." I take a few minutes before I say, "But despise it all, I still love you."
"You still love me?" Blake asks shocked.
"Yes, I still love you. I know, its a shock."
"A big shock. I didn't mean to hurt you either, Madi. Can we try again?"
"Yeah, I'd like that." I smile a small smile and he kisses my cheek.
"Good. I'll see you later." He returns back to the kitchen and I remain sitting.
I look out the window and see the band headed for the bar. In my opinion, it's a bit too early to go to the bar.
I sigh and mess with my phone for a little while before leaving.
I walk a few blocks away from the bakery and the bar. I can't wrap my finger around the fact I gave myself to Michael, and he tells me to be with Blake again. I know I said I would, but that was before we slept together.
I open the apartment door, and make my way to the sofa. I turn on the television set, and tears fall from my eyes. I don't know what's happened to me. I don't know why I'm crying.
"I'm here, Madi." Blake walks in the apartment and I quickly wipe my face.
"Hey, Blake." I smile and he sits beside me.
"I'm sorry."
"Blake, its fine. I don't.want to talk about it again." I rest my head on his shoulder.
Blake and I sit in silence for a few minutes until everyone barges in the room, sharing a few laughs.
"Madi, Blake, hi." Luke says as they all, except Michael, has confused looks on their faces.
"Hi." We both say, Blake with more anger.
"So, you're together again?" Ashton asks sitting bags on the counter.
"Yeah. We're together again." I say with a fake smile.
"That's good." Luke looks at us like he knows why. I give him a fake smile and hope he thinks nothing of it.
Blake hangs around for another two hours until he has to go. His mum is making him go apartment shopping.
"Okay, seriously? You screw Michael and go back to that douche!?" Luke says when Blake closes the door.
"Michael said to." I say.
"Oh, so this is the blame game, huh?" Michael asks. "If I do recall, you said you were going to talk to him again."
"Yes, that was before we slept together. Then you said for me to go talk to him. I did, and now thanks to you, we're together again." I say grabbing Luke's water bottle and drinking it.
"You're welcome." Michael smiles, and walks away.
"Ugh!" I crush the empty bottle and throw it at Luke.
"What did I do?" He asks with his hands up.
"Nothing, I'm sorry." I run my fingers through my hair and find Michael again. "I'm sorry, Michael."
"Madi, its fine. I was joking." Michael eats whatever they had just brought in.
"Which part? Sex or dating Blake?" I run to my room and lock the door.
I don't know what I've done. I don't want to be someone labeled as a whore. I want Michael and only Michael.
