I get up off the floor, and sigh. Its time I be a big girl, instead of crying all the time. I plaster a smile on my face, and return back downstairs. "I'm sorry, once again, Michael."
"Yeah, its cool." Michael practically ignores me and continues to play around on his phone.
I walk over to Luke and apologize for drinking all his water and throwing the crushed bottle at him. "Yeah, so..I'm sorry."
"Madi, it's fine. I thought it was funny, to be honest." Luke and Calum laugh as I scoff at them.
"That's only because you guys are jerks." I ruffle their hair and join Ashton in the kitchen area. "Hey, Ash." I hop on the counter top and eat another fruit bar. I basically live off of these things.
"Hello." Ashton flashes me a smile, and drinks his juice.
"What are you doing?"
"Right now, wondering if you ever sit in a chair like everyone else, and if you ever eat anything other than those silly things."
"I have you know, they are not 'silly things.' They're fruit bars, and yes I do eat things other than these." I take another bite before answering his other question, "And no, I barely sit in chairs. Counters are my thing."
"I'll be sure to tell Michael that." Ashton smirks before letting out a laugh.
"Ashton! I completely hate you now!" I jump down and gently smack the back of his head.
"I'm sorry. I just want to see his face turn bright red, it always does when we talk about you. All you have to do is walk in the room, and his attention is directed towards you. You should date him, Madi. He really likes you." Ashton crosses his arms on the table as I sit across from him.
"I don't think so, Ashton. I know you're lying. He never turns his attention towards me when I walk in the room. He's always on his phone." I shrug and take a small bite of my fruit bar.
"Madi, he likes you. Every time someone mentions your name, he's suddenly interested."
"Nope, you're lying." I take the last bite, and throw the wrapper away.
"Fine, refuse to believe me. You know its true." Ashton scoots the chair out from under the table and joins Calum and Luke on the floor in front of the door. Why? I have no clue. Its Calum and Luke, what do you expect?
I sigh and join Mikey on the sofa. "Hey."
"Hey." Michael lays his phone down on his lap for a split second until it lights up again.
I ignore the thought and speak, "How many girls did you pick up at the bar today?"
"Uhm, two. How did you know we went to the bar?"
"I seen you four walk past the bakery, and straight to the bar. Besides, you smell of alcohol and need to shower." I stretch my legs onto the coffee table.
"I don't think I will. I think I'll torture you with the stench." Michael lays across on my lap and forces me to smell his T-shirt sleeve.
"Michael, stop. Michael, no. Michael, I swear if you do not stop, I'm going to kill you. Michael, quit." I keep repeating the same things over again until I finally push him off me.
"Ouch! That kinda hurt." He lies in the floor and rubs his head a bit.
"I told you to stop. Next time, you'll listen." I begin to laugh when everyone comes rushing in.
"Is everyone okay? What happened?" Ashton freaks.
"Why is Michael on the floor?" Calum asks with a questioning look.
