Calum and I return home two hours later.

"Ugh," I groan, bags upon bags hanging off my arms. "Calum, can you please help me before my arms fall off?"

"I think I'll let you finish." Cal leans on the refrigerator, annoyingly popping his fresh piece of Orbit gum, with a smile.

"You're a dick." I smile back and head for more bags

"Madison, I've got them." Calum runs in front of me, grabs the few bags left of produce, and back in. "See? I had them."

I laugh a bit and give him a small hug.

"Thank you." I take in his scent and grip.

I quickly pull back and begin putting all grocery items away

The floor vibrates as Cal scoots a chair back and takes seat.

"Ya know, you're actually a pretty cool person to be around."

"Uh, thanks, I guess?" I laugh and put one empty plastic bag in the recycling bin.

"It's a good thing."

Just as I was about to respond, the other three walk in.

"Dude, she was hot." Michael says with a smile and drink in his hand.

"Who was hot?" I ask standing and walking their direction.

"Madi! Hey!" To be drunk, he sure is sober.

"No, who was hot?" I ask again, jealousy in my voice

"No one."

I fiercely take the drink, which was not open, out of his hand and toss it in the trash can.

"Michael, who was hot? I'm not a damn idiot." I cross my arms over my chest, slinging my hair over my shoulder in my hair tie.

"Madi, please.."

"Michael, tell me. I promise I won't get mad." I drop my arms to the side.

"If you don't tell her, I will." Luke says, butting in.

"Please, Luke, tell me who was hot." I say with a smile.

"Stay out of it, Luke." Michael says.

"Well, you wont tell me."

"Madison. I will tell you."

The room falls silent. I turn on my heel, giving up.

"You. You were hot."

"Like I'll believe that." I sarcastically laugh and walk away.

"Its true. We went to my old house, and I showed them pictures of you in high school. They agreed, you were hot in high school."

"And how would you know? You never went to high school, but maybe a few years, less than that."

"I can't tell you. Because I honestly don't know. Madi, please, don't be mad." Michael inches closer to me.

"I love you."

I want to be mad at him, but something about him makes me want him even more.

"I'm sorry I got upset." I avoid eye contact and stare at the ground.

"No, don't be. To be honest, I was jealous all day today because I knew Calum would be spending the day with you instead of me." Michael strokes his thumb over my knuckles.

"Don't be jealous. All we did was go grocery shopping and goof around." I smile at the memory.

"He's something else."

"Indeed, he is." Michael laughs

"I did miss you today, though." I kiss his cheek. "A lot."

"I missed you, too."

Michael and I share a sincere kiss before heading to bed.

Today, besides arguing, was great.

Everyday with them is great.

Everyday.
