"Another morning, another opportunity to be lazy", you sighed while stretching your hands up in the air. It was already Wednesday, exactly 5 days after the interview. A few days have already passed without hearing anything from BH, but unlike before, you felt hopeful this time because you were confident with your answers. So every day after the interview, you held your phone close to you whenever you went just in case they call up.
As usual, you were being lazy. You just woke up and weren't really feeling like standing up and preparing breakfast yet. In fact, you're still a bit sleepy cause you slept around dawn, the night before, doing absolutely nothing.
"10 more minutes.", you spoke loudly as if you're talking to someone else.
Just when you're about to go back to dreamland, your phone suddenly beeped. You were startled by the loud sound it created, which caused you to instantly jump out of the bed.

"WHAT? EMERGENCY? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!", I shouted hysterically... so it'll look real.
"Bitch what are you talking about?", Y/N replied back, but I didn't answer her question because it will mess everything up. I just let her realize what I'm doing and thankfully after a few seconds, she uttered an excited "oh!" before she started laughing hysterically. That's when I knew she already realized that I was just acting.
"ARE YOU OK? WHERE ARE YOU? I'M COMING! I'M COMING! STOP CRYING!", I shouted again while separating from the random girl's embrace and standing up from her bed.
"You're trying too hard, asshole!", Y/N said, still laughing her ass out.
"Bogumie, what's wrong?", the girl asked while I was picking up my clothes scattered in her room. I ignored her and continued looking for my boxers.
"I'M COMING! I'M ON MY WAY! JUST STAY PUT!", I said while putting my clothes on and hurrying to the door.
Before I get could get out, the girl spoke, "Hey, where are you going?!"
I looked at her and said, "There's an emergency. My best friend- *cue in fake sob* I have to go!."
"Call m—"
Before she could even finish her sentence, I was already outside of her flat.
"Thanks, Y/N! I'm already out. Will be at your place in 30", I told Y/N.
"Do you have a key with you? I'm too lazy to open the door for you.", she said.
Y/N's parents treat me like their own son since they've been friends with my parents even before I was born and they were also there when I was growing up so they're like a second family to me, too. Also, I always come by their place cause I'm the best friend of their only daughter, so they just gave me an extra key to hold onto. Just in case.
"Wait! Let me check in the car.", I replied back while opening the car.
I opened the compartment and looked for it. "It's here!"
"K, just come in when you get here. Imma go take a bath now", Y/N said before ending the call.
I settled in my car, before starting the engine. After backing up from the complex's parking lot, I went straight to Y/N's house.
