After the somewhat heated exchange, the tension slowly dissolved and was forgotten by most but surely not Bogum since he was giving you a knowing look every now and then. Jimin, with a slightly wet face, soon returned from the restroom and sat beside you. He looked clueless when he got back; he even asked you if you're alright, seeing how tense you were.

Everyone was already halfway done. Well, except for Kate because she barely touched her food. The food was amazing, as expected, so you suppose her taste buds aren't just on a par with everyone else's. Poor woman; she claims to have an exquisite taste but can't even determine good food when she tastes one.

During dinner, stories after stories were flown everywhere while eating. And of course, Kate almost dominated and overreacted to each and every one of the topics being brought up, especially when it was from the members. She was acting all jolly and interested in everything they talked about—which was clearly just a façade.

This night only made you realize that the other woman is more thick-skinned and insensitive than you've gauged her to be. All throughout the evening, she spared no glance at Jimin's way and just acted like absolutely nothing happened in the parking lot.

Every time she spoke, you would just automatically focus on your food—finding more interest in it, than her. You weren't even hiding the fact that you were not listening anymore. It definitely seemed rude from another person's perspective but you just wanted to tune out her annoying voice.

Kate was getting so comfortable around them, even comfortable enough to ask for Najoon's number publicly—claiming that she'd be needing it for the partnership project. You saw the hesitation in Namjoon's eyes before pulling out a calling card.

You snorted, seeing that the number he gave was the company-issued one—which by the way, is under your care. It was company protocol to not give out their personal numbers, unless they are family members or close friends, so you weren't surprised that Namjoon gave her that instead of his own. Her squeal upon taking the card was priceless; she really thought it was the leader's—making your snort turn into a chuckle.

And oh, it doesn't end there.

Later on that night, Kate dramatically confessed something. She really did try to own the night, maximizing it for her own good.

With a serious demeanor, she asked for everyone's attention. You were surprised by what had come out of her mouth next.

"Y/N was telling the truth", she said, finally grabbing your attention as well. Of course you're almost always right, but right about what this time? Right when you said she's fake, a bitch, or a reincarnation of satan?

"I was the one who exposed your shooting location", she admitted shyly. Wow? No shit? This was new information!, you rolled your eyes. "I'm so sorry.", she continued with a weak voice.

Oh wait, quick! Act surprised! And so you did. You loudly gasped like that was new news, making Yoongi release a low deep chuckle. Kate, then, glanced at you before shooting you a discreet glare—of course being extra careful so the others won't see.

An "I knew it" could also be heard leaving Jimin's mouth, while the others could only come out with an "oh".

Though you gotta admit that this was big of her to finally admit something she'd done wrong, but after giving her a look, you're taking that back—she didn't look as apologetic as she claimed to be.

Kate, however, tried to look sincere and sorry—emphasis on 'tried'. By now, you were aware of her ways. She could show one emotion but think and feel its total opposite. She is cunning and deceiving, and you just hope that the members won't fall for this fake apology.
