Before you could even stop yourself, you were already reaching for his phone.

"Tae...", you said with a shaky voice as you scanned through his notifications. You didn't wanna look like an entitled bitch for invading his privacy, but somehow, your emotions got the best of you. "Did you—have you been reading these?", you asked with so much worry lacing each of your words.

The world really is a fucked up place to be sheltering such people. It made your blood boil how these indecent devils disguised as human beings had the audacity to say such hurtful words to the man who does not deserve all the hate and derogatory words thrown at him. Taehyung whose aim was to just express himself through music and to let the fans (and literally just anyone) be touched by it. All he wants is to express himself and show who he really is while also helping fans know their own selves—yet he still received hate for absolutely no fucking reason.

Taehyung looked at his phone in your hand before saying just a plain 'yeah'. He didn't even act violently when you grabbed his phone, it's as if he knew you'd notice the stuff sooner or later so he just let you be.

"You shouldn't be reading these. Heck, you shouldnt be receiving such comments!", you stated sternly.

"Why? Everything they're saying is true tho?", he said matter-of-factly as if all of it were supposed to be real.

It broke your heart how he believed their words. The man with the biggest heart thinks he is ugly and worthless, and you just wanna whack the shit out of all the antis who made him think he isn't worth anything.

"And why on earth would you think BTS is better without you?", you voiced out, containing your emotions so not to lash out on him. "Do you seriously think that's true? Cause I bet my life on it for sure the hell not!"

You breathed out heavily. You'd rather receive hate than have any of the members receive them. The guys are the nicest and most genuine persons you have ever met in your entire life, and it breaks your heart knowing how there are still some people who wanna drag them down.

"I just really feel like I'm not good enough, you know?—that I'm not really that special. That my skills and my voice are just average, that my dancing skills are not even that outstanding or anything special. Who even allowed me to be an idol? I'm just basic, plain and boring. I can't even speak a proper, complete English sentence without stuttering or missing an article or a word or just completely butchering it up."

"Don't say that", you said sadly. Some low-life people managed to convince Taehyung that he is a weed in the garden when in fact, he is one of the rarest flowers to ever bloom in it. "You know that's not true... none of those are true."

"But is it really tho?", he responded with a fake smile. "I mean, it'd be nice to have your own expertise too. Just like the other members—they have their own identities."

Because of the hate comments he'd received, he'd become insecure. His self-esteem lowered to the extent that he'd been comparing himself with the others.

He continued enumerating each member's characteristics. "Joonie hyung is very good with words and just speaking in general. He is only a year older than me but he is so wise and responsible--a total packaged role model. Jin hyung has his sass and confidence—like who can top that? He's also very charismatic—he's worldwide handsome for a reason. And his dad jokes are plus points, too. Yoongi hyung is the king of sarcasm. He's the rap god and producing skills are award-winning. Though he speaks less, you know he's really intellectual. Hobi hyung—the lead dancer and the sunshine of the group. He doesn't only rap, but he could sing as well. Jiminie is the greatest motivator. He's always been known to have the biggest heart among all of us. He's the kindest and most lovable member. Jimin always know the right things to say. He's the sweetest member—he thinks about everybody all the time. In his every move, he considers about the others—he's just that considerate. Don't even get me started with Jungkookie—like that man excels in just everything. He could dance well, sing very nicely, take photos and edit stuff like a pro, and just overall do every single thing so easily. Kookie is the determined one—that's why he tends to be viewed as perfect since he strives perfection in everything he does", Taehyung described the members with so much fondness. "Then there goes Kim Taehyung... the average wannabe idol that shouldn't be part of the team. BTS should've been the perfect group if not for me. I'm like the black sheep of the group or something"
