It's already morning, the dreaded 'tomorrow morning' that Seulgi was talking about. It's the morning you've been called by the CEO himself.

You hadn't slept well last night. All night, you were up thinking about what could have been the reason why the CEO wanted to meet with you. After drowning yourself with endless thoughts, you decided to sleep, but somehow you just couldn't get yourself comfortable in your bed as you constantly moved and changed your position every after 10 minutes. Your nervousness just didn't want to let you sleep soundly. Plus, you're afraid that when you sleep, the morning will come faster. A little part of you even hoped it doesn't come at all.

But alas, the inevitable came... It's already that morning. It did come. You felt more nervous than yesterday but you still forced yourself out of your bed to get ready for work--if you could even call it that.

Since you haven't slept well last night, you drank coffee before heading to the company; just to wake you up and give you that energy boost you currently lacked. But later that morning, you've realized that it was a total mistake for drinking that cup.

After 30 minutes, you've reached your destination. You went straight to Seulgi, but unlike any other days, today, she looked serious. Too serious, which actually scared you a little. Just by looking at the expression on her face, which was none at all, you could feel that something was odd.

"Good mor—", you started but she interrupted you.

"This way", she said, not even giving you a single glance while she guided you to wherever it was.

You entered the elevator and went up to the topmost part of the building. The elevator ride was drop-dead silent, and you didn't even dare to speak a word cause the aura she's giving off today made you feel that something's definitely up. It only took a while for you both to arrive there. She immediately went out, not even giving you a glance.

What's up with her today? Did I get her reprimanded because of my suggestion?, you thought while she was guiding you through the wide narrow hall. Suddenly, she stopped in front of a huge black door.

"Mr. Bang is waiting for you", she said before leaving.

Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!

You were beyond nervous. Saying you're nervous would even be an understatement.

Deep breathes. Breathe in; breathe out. Inhale; exhale.

You tried to calm yourself down before knocking.

*knock* *knock*

You knocked once. No response.

You could feel your legs wobbling and your heart pounding.

Just when you're about to knock again...

"Come in", said the man from the other side of the door.

You stepped inside, and was greeted by the CEO himself who's sitting behind his table. His office is huge; slick and so clean. Behind his desk was a full glass wall, which gave a good view of the whole city. One side of his office has bookshelves filled with books, and the other side's filled with glass-looking shelves filled with trophies and such.

You approached his desk and immediately bowed while saying your greetings. Mr. Bang greeted you back and told you to sit on the seat in front of him. Before your butt could even touch the soft cushion of the seat, you were already rambling nonsense.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Bang. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please don't fire me", you pleaded, your voice almost cracking.

The CEO looked at you with a dumbfounded face, quite shocked by your plea.

"I'm sorry for my suggestion, I know I was stepping over the line. I know I'm in no position to say those things so I deeply and sincerely apologize", you continued, showing him how sincere you really were.

You swore you heard him chuckle for a bit.

"You're hired!"
