You heard a laugh. A familiar one. It was just a chuckle but you knew you've already heard that voice before.

Your curiosity's bugging you, so you raised your head slowly to look where the chuckle came from. That's when you realized that you weren't alone. There was a man standing on one corner of the elevator, thinking he got on before you cause there wasn't anyone on the 3rd floor waiting with you a while ago. With his earphones on, his head is bowed down, looking at something on his phone, probably the cause for his laughter. You side glanced him, hoping he wouldn't notice cause it'd be totally weird if he caught you.

You studied everything about him. Trying to figure out who it was cause the laugh was just so familiar. He's tall and slender, a lil bit buff, but no the exaggerated ones you see on magazines, just enough muscle to know he's hella strong. He has smooth, honey-like complexion. He's clothed in casual wear--wearing a loose white top, ripped jeans and Timberland boots. Also, with that, he had a beanie on, sunglasses and a mask; so a little facial feature could only be seen because of the accessories that were hiding them.

TING!

The sound of the elevator synchronized with your realization. It's as if it was on cue, ready whenever you finally figure out who that person was.

1st floor.

Your eyes widened when you finally realized who it was.

Jungkook? Bitch! That's Jungkook! You're inside the elevator with Jungkook! Why didn't you notice sooner? JEON JUNGKOOOOOOOOK!

You started to panic when the elevator door opened.

"Let me help you with that", he said while you froze on your spot.

AND BITCH YOU ALMOST DIED! You couldn't move and talk at all. Heck, you couldn't even breathe.

He pushed the suitcase with ease, as if it's just filled with feathers or cotton.

You were still standing inside, still speechless, when he started to walk away.

You hurriedly walked out the elevator, just in time before it closed. Your ability to talk finally came back.

"T-t-thank you!", you said, but he couldn't hear it anymore since he was already halfway out the door, plus your voice was too soft and a little shaky.

After a few seconds, your instinct kicked in. What do I do next? RUN! So that's what you did. You run outside the building, hoping that you'll get a glance of the boys. I mean JK was just here, so I suppose, all of them are, too, right?

But before you could even go out the door, you heard the van's door close shut.

You still tried to catch up tho, but the car was already leaving. Leaving you with that thought again. Life is indeed unfair!

While sulking, you went back inside to get the suitcase you almost forgot existed. You were putting it in the van when you received a text.

You immediately opened it after placing the bag inside.

I just wanna inform you that Mr. Han said that you don't need to come to work until Friday. Because of the shoot, everyone's been so busy and focused on it. Plus, everything just needs to be kept confidential so the lesser the people going in and out of the company, the better. Besides, there isn't much to do in the company for the next 2 days anyway. So you don't need to come. Just use it as your free time. See you on Friday!

Nice! It's like Mr. Han is indirectly saying that I'm not needed in the company, that I'm fired--- but wait I'm not even hired so technically, they can't fire me yet. 

Not saying what's really on your mind, you replied "Ok, Seulgi. Thank you!"

You went home feeling devastated. There were just too many missed opportunities today, and your heart can't take it anymore. You needed rest. You needed to clear your mind off things. So, you just slept your sadness away... like how you always do.
