It's been two days since Carlos left the hospital. He was supposed to be on bed rest but he refused when he heard what happened to their warehouse. He was standing up leaning on Arvonti for support as they looked around. Half of the staff they had left in Brooklyn was dead, that was one third of the full portion of his people.
After hearing everything all they both could think about how they shoulda seen it coming. It was the only way Tijuana knew move for move, how shit would play out. Arvonti knew he couldn't trust the bullshit about no beef between the blood then,
he even said it yet him being the threat didn't pop in his head until earlier. All he could think about was how he shoulda killed him when he had a chance.
He felt stupid, pissed, and honestly his trigga finger was itching. The fact that Amir and Montrell had been playin outta his hand just pissed him off more. They stood downstairs looking at the painted symbol of the Tijuana Cartel. Arvonti looked at Carlos as his jaw was clenched as he held up the paper that was on the floor.
"Somebody betta find me Jose's location or I'm killin Amir and Montrell." Arvonti said lookin at the two of them knocked out on the floor. They've been gettin all they info from Jose from the jump. They literally played out of his enemies hand.
He was way passed pissed at this point. He couldn't trust his own for shit. "Sir there's a call from Tijuana." Morris said as he walked over to him. Arvonti and Carlos ran upstairs into their office seein Mudd playin elevator music from his phone by the landline on the desk.
"Speaker." Carlos said. Mudd pressed the speaker and instead of hearin a voice they got a replayed message from a old phone call. "This fake death shit dead as hell, I shouldna had did this." They squinted at the sound of Tez's voice.
"You was scared he'd kill you after he found out you had sex wit her while she was pregnant wit his kid." Arvonti's eyes went wide as he listened to Jose's voice. The words he just spoke hit with a sharp pain in his chest. He felt there was no way this conversation was real.
That Messiah wouldn't had did that. "No." He said. "She wouldn't do that." Arvonti said to himself. "That was how it happened. I just couldn't die for that, Arvonti woulda killed me if he found out I had sex wit Messiah while she was pregnant." Arvonti's eyebrows furrowed together, he wanted to throw the phone
cause it was a lie. But at the same time he just knew it wasn't. That it was true cause they spoke on this before and she denied it. She did reckless shit while she was pregnant, she admitted how she looked at his brothas, how she woulda fucked one.
"Do you love ha?" He heard Aliyah's voice ask softly. "What?" Tez asked off gaurd. "Do you love her?" Aaliyah's voice was felt with pain and anger as she repeated herself louder. "She was my best friend." Arvonti heard the pain, the confusion, the realization in his voice. "You love her." Aaliyah said on the verge of cryin.
"I did.... I didn't meant to but I did. Liyah." Arvonti shooked his head as he rubbed the back of his head up and down and turned the other way. He could feel the hot tears flooding his eyes as he folded his lips into his mouth. "No." Aaliyah said. "Ceretez you still love her, it's why you couldn't forgive her,
said what you said at the party. You were just mad that she wouldn't choose you. And I'm the girl on the sideline who will always choose you but you wouldn't chose me if it came to her." "That's not true." "Cut it off." Carlos said. "Hol'on." Mudd said. "I just can't get past the fact that you cheated and you loved her while you was with me." "Cut it off!"
