Chapter #25

*Natalia's POV*

"You son of a bitch!" Calum spat at Connor, still on top of him.

The rest of them ran away, they we're pretty scared of Calum.

I slid down the wall and watched Calum beat up my best friend.

Well, ex-best friend.

By now Connor was knocked out, Calum came and hugged me.

"Shh, it's okay, your fine" he whispered, I continued to sob, "He was my best friend" I whispered "I know" he said "You still have Beth, Sonny and Kassie though, right?" he said "Yeah, but we're all friends, so this doesn't just effect me. It effects all of us" I said, he nodded "Plus, we all have different personalities so when we're all together we kinda all go crazy" I giggled.

It's weird how my mood can change so fast.

"Are you sure your still okay?" he asked, a few tears slipped from my eyes "I'll be okay" I said, a police car rushed around the corner.

Someone must have heard me screaming. "Hello, we we're called recently. Which one of you was threatend?" he asked "Me." I said in a whisper "Okay, can you come with me for a second?" he asked, "No, I'm not leaving Calum" I said and hugged him Calum blushed a little, "Okay, are you okay with answering these questions too?" he asked, Calum nodded.

"What type of threat was it?" he asked, I bit my lip and a few tears slipped down my face, "Rape" Calum whispered.

He nodded and wrote it down, "Do you know who the rapist was?" he asked "My best friend" I answered "What's his name?" he asked "I can't tell you that" I said "You need too. So we can press charges-" I cut him off "You won't need to press any charges, I can handle this on my own thank you very much" I said.

"You really are going to forgive a guy that just tried to rape you?" he said "I said, I can handle this on my own." I said sternly.

"Okay, if you change your mind just come into the police station and ask to talk to Liam" he said and drove away.

"Are you insane!" Calum said "He's drunk, I'm a forgiving person. I can handle this." I said calmly, "He tried to rape you Natalia!" his voice rose "Calum, it was a mistake, okay?" I said "Mistake?!" he said "Calum, calm down, I can handle this" I said.

He started crying, "I'm fine Calum" I said and hugged him "I don't want him to hurt you again" he said "He won't, I know him too well." I said, "What are we going to do with him?" he asked "I got it, go home" I said "I'm not leaving you with him, I can't trust him yet" he said. "Okay" I sighed.

"Do you have any idea on what we're going to do with him?" he asked, "Let's take him to my house" I said "How are we going to get him into your house?" he asked.

"My room is in the basement, we can climb through the window, I don't want my family to see him" I said, he nodded.

We climbed through my window and laid him down on my bed, I wiped the blood off his face.

"Thank you Calum, for basically saving my life" I smiled "No problem" he sighed "Thanks for taking Connor here too, I know you probably hate him now" I said, he chuckled "No problem" he said.

"You should go, before my mom wonders who I'm talking too" I said, he kissed me "I'll see you tommorow" he smiled "Bye Cal" I smiled and he crawled through the window.

*15 MINUTES LATER*

I heard Connor groan, I went and sat beside him.

"Hey Connor" I whispered "What happened?" he asked, I sighed and then a look of realization crossed his face.

"Oh my god Nat, I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry" he said, he was crying, "Connor, it's fine, you we're drunk. I don't know why you we're drunk but anyways it's fine" I said.

"It's not 'fine'" he said, "Connor, it's okay, I'll forget" I said. "I can't believe I did that. How did you stop me anyways?" he asked.

"Calum, he basically beat you before you could even kiss me" I said, "Thank god" he said, I smiled "I'll be fine Connor" I hugged him.

I know that I'm probably an idiot for forgiving him but he's my best friend, I could never stay mad at him.

Which is kinda crazy but oh well.
