*Natalia's POV*

I got home around 3am, Ashton walked me.

My mom stood in the kitchen looking exhausted.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!" she yelled "I told you I had too go out" I said, I really don't feel like explaining what happened again. I just want to sleep and I can't do that while crying my eyes out.

"What do you mean 'out'? You've been gone for the past 11 hours!" she said, I turned my back to walk down into my room.

"Natalia Paige Blue. Don't you dare walk away from me. What are you hiding from me?! Did you join a gang?" she said, I stopped in my steps and aggressively turned around.

"MY BEST FRIEND JUST COMMITTED SUICIDE CAN YOU LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE?!" I yelled at the top if my lungs, probably waking everyone up but I don't give a shit.

"Natalia, I-I-" I cut her off "I don't care what you have to say, I'm 101% done with your shit" I said, tears forming at the edges of my eyes.

She was about to say something and I could here somebody walking downstairs.

I ran out the front door but grabbed my school bag before I left.

I'm not staying in that house with those assholes.

I called Ashton, I knew he'd be pretty bummed out and Kassie and Bethany were both sleeping over at Kassie's place so Ashton might need a cuddle buddy.

"Hey Ash" I said when he answered "Hey Nat" he sniffled. I paused for a second "Could I, uhm, stay at your house for the night? My mom isn't being so supportive of the situation" I said, I was still crying a little.

"What about Kassie and Bethany?" he asked "They have each other, thought you might want someone to talk too" I smiled a little.

"Yeah, that'd be great" I could almost feel him smiling through the phone.

"Address?" I asked, "230 Avenue M North in a yellow house" he said "Okay" I nodded. "Do you want me to meet up with you? It's kinda late.." he said "Nah I do this all the time, I'll be there in 10 minutes or so" I reassured.

"Okay, see you soon" he said "Bye Ashton" I said "Byee" he said and I shoved my phone into my pocket.

I made it to Avenue L and saw someone walking up to me, I started freaking out inside.

"What if it's a rapist?" I thought, "Look who's here" Michael chuckled.

Oh gods this is worse than a rapist.

I sighed, "Well, are you going to greet me?" he stepped closer, filling the gap in between us.

"Please leave me alone, I'm really not in the mood" I said "Awh, is it that time if the month?" he joked.

I tried stepping around him but he grabbed onto my wrist, I yelped in pain because of his grip on my cuts.

"That's a sign of weakness." he said, "Michael, leave me alone please" I begged.

He glanced down at his imaginary watch, "Whatever, I have to get going. Don't expect me to be nice like this tomorrow" he said.

He hardly nudged me as he walked away and I scurried to where Ashton's house was.

I was about to ring the doorbell when the door flew open and Ashton shoved his hand over my mouth.

I licked him and he quickly pulled his hand away, "What the fuck?" I said, "SHHH, my parents are sleeping and they will probably kill me if they find out you're here" he said somewhat whispering.
