Chapter #36

My family and I started driving to Calum's house before we drove out to the lake that we would be camping at for the next 3 days.

"I'll go in and get him!" I jumped out of the car and started walking to his doorstep.

"Hi" I smiled "Hey" he kissed my cheek, "Got everything?" I asked "I think so" he said, "Let's go then, we're meeting Kyle out at the lake"

Kyle is my 24 year old older brother who moved out 6 years ago. We got along really well, we hung out all the time when I wasn't with my friends and he wasn't with his, until he moved out when I was only 11. It was devistating for me, but quickly got over it when I started getting into boybands.

"Hey Kyle!" I hugged him "Hi" he hugged me back. "This is Calum" I motioned behind me, he fake gasped.

"Oh em gee Nat! Is he your boyfriend? He's so cute!" he said in a girly voice. I shook my head and listened to the two of them laugh as I walked away.

We grabbed all our bags and tents. Calum and I we're sharing, Kyle and Cameron and my mom and dad.

"LAST ONE DONE IS THE ROTTEN EGG!" Kyle yelled, I rolled my eyes at his childness. Calum laid the tent out, "Have you ever set up a tent up before?" I chuckled "Nope." he said honestly. "Oh gods this is going to be horrible" I sighed, he laughed.

"NATALIA! THIS ISN'T WORKING! IT WON'T FIT!" Calum yelled at me from the other side of the tent, I walked around the tent laughing, "That's what she said." I laughed. "The pole won't fit!" he exclaimed, I laughed harder, "Stop it!" he whined.

"I'm sorry" my laughter died down, I fixed the tent, he hugged me. "Aw, What would I do without you?" he kissed my forehead "You would sleep outside on the cold hard ground and get eaten by bears" I joked.

"I am trying to be a cute boyfriend" he sighed and fake pouted. "I am very sorry Calum, I have no clue what you'd do without me, probably still at home on the internet" I said sarcastically.

We finished setting up our tent, we cheered and jumped up, high-fiving in the air. We laughed.

Everyone was finished setting up tents, mom and dad were getting lunch ready.

"Hey mum!" Kyle called, "Yeah?" she looked up at him. "We're going to the pond, gonna try to catch some fish" he said "Cool, fishing rods are in the trunk, don't be gone to long!" she smiled.

I ran over to the trunk and grabbed 4 fishing rods, the rest of the caught up to me.

"So how have you been?" Kyle asked me as Calum and Cameron walked ahead. I sighed, "Horrible."

"Why? What happened?" he asked. "A lot happened" I said. "Like...?"

"Madyson commited suicide" I said quietly. "Aw, that's gotta suck" he said "Yeah, it does" I said.

"How's the bullying?" he asked "It got really bad, then got better, then got bad all over again." I said "They started calling me things more often and they beat me up twice, then I guess they started feeling guilty, so they've been leaving me alone, I'm actually friends with one of them. But then this girl told everyone that I cut-" I stopped immediately after I realized what I just told Kyle.

"Nat" he said quietly, I looked at him, "Show me your wrists" he said.

I rolled up my sleeves, he was silent for a second, "Hey, at least they're faded, that means you haven't done it in a while, right?" He said, I nodded. "You know you can talk to me about anything and I won't tell anyone"
