Lane's P.O.V.

------At the front of the mall------

"Mom, why are we waiting here?" said Connor. "We're waiting for George, and Lane's other friends." said Tia Rue. "And we're waiting for Cameron's friends too Connor." I said. "Speaking of my friends, here they come." said Cameron. "And here come mine." I said. George, John, Henry, Amy, Jane, and Cameron's friends walk up. "Lane, why are they here." George said motioning to Cameron, and the Ravens. "Cam, why are they here." said, one of Cameron's friends motioning to George and the gang. "I told them to have you guys meet us here." said Tia Rue. "Hi Rue, hi Caleb, hi Connor." said George. "Before we introduce you guys Cameron, and I need to talk to you." I said. "This way." said Cameron. "We'll be right back." I said. We walk away.

"Lane, why are you hanging out with the Ravens." said John. "Cam, why are you hanging out with the Vipers." said one of Cameron's friends. "Can I at least introduce you guys to Lane." said Cameron to his friends. "Ok." said Cameron's friends in unison. "Lane, this is Logan, Tom, Kyle, Hank, and David." said Cameron. "Nice to meet you guys." said Lane. "Lane, tell us what's going on." said George. "You to Cam." said Logan. "Guys, I told my aunt that you guys hate each other, and she said she had and idea. But she said we all need to hear it." I said. "Fine." they all said in unison. "Ravens, before you meet them you can't mention anything about the gangs, or violence." said Cameron. "Because my family doesn't know." I said. "Alright." the Ravens said in unison. "Good, now come on." I said. We walk back to my family. "John, Henry, Amy, Jane, this is my Tia Rue, and my 2 cousins Caleb and Connor." I said. "Logan, Tom, Kyle, Hank, David, this is Lane's family." said Cameron. "Hi." they all said in unison. "Hi." said my family in unison.

"Tia Rue now can you tell us why you had Cameron, and I tell our friends come here." I said. "Before we get started, anybody who has something to say about the other group needs to say it out loud now." said Tia Rue. "Tia Rue really." I said. "Just trust me." said Tia Rue. "Fine. Guys, Cameron, and his friends asked me to join them." I said. "WHAT!" my friends said in unison. "We can talk about this later." I said. "Lane, please tell me you're not thinking about joining them." said George. "If we finish this I might not have to." I said. "Why do you guys hate each other?" said Tia Rue. "Because, they always think they're better than us." said John, pointing to the Ravens. "They always copy us." said Logan pointing to my friends. "How did this rivalry start?" said Tia Rue. "It started with me and John." said Henry. "And me and Cam." said Logan. "The 4 of us were all friends..." said Cameron. "...until they left us to have their own group of friends." said Logan. "You guys left us." said John and Henry in unison. "It doesn't matter. Why did you 4 start having 2 different group of friends?" said Tia Rue. "To show them that we can be just like them." said John, Henry, Cameron, and Logan in unison. "Really?" said John and Henry in unison. "Yes." said Cameron, and Logan in unison. " Now, can the 12 of you stop this rivalry and be friends?" said Tia Rue. "Alright." they all said in unison. "Good." Cameron and I said in unison.

"They're here." said mom. "Who's here?" I said. "Lane, I have something to tell you." said mom. "What is it?" I said. "Remember when you were 3, and I had told you that your baby brother died after I gave birth to him." said mom. "Yes, why?" I said. "The truth is, he didn't die. Your father and I put him up for adoption, and gave him to this wonderful family." said mom. "WHAT!" I said. "George Cameron, can you 2 talk to her." said Tia Rue. "Lane, they probably had a good reason." said George. "They probably didn't have enough money." said Cameron. "Mom, is that true?" I said. "Yes." said mom. "You could have told me the truth." I said. "I know. I'm so sorry I kept it from you all these years." said mom. "I forgive you." I said. "Turn around and say hello to your little brother." said mom. I turn around and see Michael. "Michael, your my brother?" I said. "Yep." said Michael. "Now that both of you are here want to know what your surprise is?" said mom. "Yes." said Michael. "Yes, I've been dying to know what it is." I said. "Well, its not coming until tomorrow. But someone does want to talk to you both on the phone." said mom. "Who?" Michael, and I said in unison. "Your dad." said mom.

Phone conversation

Mom: Max, its Riley. I'm with Michael and Lane.

Dad: Put them on.

Michael: Hello

Dad: Michael. Where's your sister?

Me: Right here.

Dad: Ok. Lane, I know your mom told you this but she didn't tell Michael.

Michael: Tell me what?

Dad: As you may know, your aunt on my side passed away and I asked your mom to plan it.

Michael: Yes

Dad: Since your aunt was my sister I'm going to the funeral.

Michael: Really

Dad: Yes.

Lane: What do you want abandoner

Mom: Lane be nice.

Dad: Riley its fine I deserved that. Lane I'm sorry I left you a long time ago. Michael I'm sorry your mom and I put you up for adoption.

Me: You have 1 more minute and then I'm done talking to you.

Dad: What can I do for both of your forgiveness?

Michael: I was never mad. I knew you both had a reason for putting me up for adoption.

Dad: Lane, what about you?

Me: Be here for me when I need you

Dad: Deal

Me: Fine

Dad: Thanks kids you won't be sorry, bye

Me, Michael, Mom: Bye

Mom hangs up the phone and puts it in her purse. "Now you 2 have to wait until tomorrow for your other surprise." said mom. "Hey, where's Ally?" said Michael. "How do you know about Ally?" I said. "She used to visit me a couple times a month before she stopped visiting me 2 months ago." said Michael. "We haven't seen her since I was in 5th grade." I said. "How come she never told us she was visiting you?" said mom. "Ok, everyone except my friends raise your hands if you knew that mom and dad put Michael up for adoption." I said. Mom, Tia Rue, Caleb, Connor, Michael's adopted parents, and Michael all raise their hands. "So me and my friends are the only ones who didn't know." I said. "I haven't introduced you guys to my adopted parents. This is Emma, and Rick Doyle." said Michael. "Now that's out of the way lets all go inside." I said.
