Chapter 28

George's P.O.V.

------In the front of the mall------

After waiting 5 minutes the grownups arrived with bags in their hands. "You guys have been busy." I said. "Cameron here's your bag." said Mrs. Peters. "Thanks Mrs. Peters." said Cameron. "See you tomorrow Lane." said Tom, Hank, Kyle, David, Logan, Henry, John, Amy, and Jane in unison. "Bye guys." said Lane. Tom, Hank, Kyle, David, Henry, John, Amy, and Jane walk away. "Cam, do you want a ride?" said Logan. "Sure. Bye Lane." said Cameron. "Bye Cam." said Lane. Cameron and Logan walk away. "Come on Michael lets go home." said Emma. Michael, Emma and Rick walk away. "Come on guys lets go home." said Mrs. Peters. "Ok." Lane, and I said in unison. We all walk to the car and head home.

------At the house------

When we pull into the driveway Lane and I see a box on the porch. "Who's the box for?" I said. "Get out and see." said Mrs. Peters. Lane and I get out and see who the box is for. "The box is for you Lane." I said. "Happy birthday Lane." said Mrs. Peters. "But my birthday is not until tomorrow." said Lane. "I know." said Mrs. Peters. "Come on lets go inside." I said. We all go inside.

------Inside------

"George, I'll wrap your present for you." said Rue. "Thanks." I said handing Rue my present for Lane. "Wait, all those presents are for me?" said Lane. "Yes." I said. "Lane you can open the box. But the rest of the presents you can open tomorrow at the party." said Mrs. Peters. "Sweet." said Lane. "You 2 stay in here and we'll wrap the presents." said Rue. The grownups take the presents into Mrs. Peters room to wrap them.

"What are you waiting for open it up." I said. Lane opens the box, looks inside, and screams. "What is it?" I said. Lane takes out a black leather jacket. "It's the jacket I told mom that I wanted. THANKS MOM!" said Lane. "YOU'RE WELCOME!" said Mrs. Peters.

For the rest of the day Lane and I talk about what rides the 2 of us are going to get on, and what games we're going to play.
