Lane's P.O.V.

"What business did you guys have to take care of?" I said. "Business?" said Caleb. "Oh shit." I said. "Is it for school or something?" said Caleb. "Guys, I'm able to keep it from my mom. But, I can't keep it from my favorite cousin." I said hugging Caleb. "What's going on Lane?" said Caleb. "Lane, if we do tell him he could go tell your family." said John. "John he won't. I've told him a bunch of secrets and he hasn't told a single one." I said. "It's true. I've been keeping Lane's secrets ever since she could talk." said Caleb. "He also keeps some of my secrets too." said George. "Its fine with me." Amy, Henry, and Jane said in unison. "John?" I said. "Do you promise not to say anything?" said John. "I promise on my life." said Caleb. "Fine." said John. "Michael, do you know?" said George. "Yes. Steve told me." said Michael. "Ok." said George.

"Caleb, we're a gang." I said. "Who is?" said Caleb. "All of us." I said. "Except for me." said Michael. "So that's why you're acting different." said Caleb. "Yes." I said. "That's awesome. Have you been in any fights yet?" said Caleb. "Yes." I said. "We're called the Vipers." said John. "What was the name of the gang you fought?" said Caleb. "The Ravens." said Cameron. "How does he know?" said Caleb. "Because we're the Ravens." said Cameron. "I thought all of you were the Vipers?" said Caleb. "No. John, Henry, George, Amy, Jane, and I are the Vipers." I said. "Logan, Tom, Kyle, David, Hank, and I are the Ravens." said Cameron.

"How about the 12 of you become 1 gang." said Caleb. "Sure." we all said in unison. "What would we call ourselves though." I said. "How about the Hawks." said Caleb. "That'd be a cool name." said Michael. "Ok, we are officially the Hawks." said Cameron. "Who's going to be the leader though?" said George. "I say Lane." said George. "Why me?" I said. "Because, if you hadn't told your aunt about the Raven and Viper rivalry then the 12 of us wouldn't be friends now." said Cameron. "So you guys really want me to be the leader." I said. "Yea." everyone said in unison. "Alright." I said. They all cheered.

"How about we split up?" said Michael. "Sure." I said. "How about we split up in groups of 2?" said Cable. "Sure." said Michael. John, and Henry pair up. Amy, and Jane pair up. Tom, and Hank pair up. Kyle and David pair up. George, and Michael pair up. Logan, and Caleb pair up. Then Cameron, and I pair up. "We re-group at the food court if anything bad happens." I said. "But how will we contact the people from the other gang." said John. "Everyone give your number to everyone in the opposite gang." I said. "What about us?" said Michael, and Caleb. "You 2 give your numbers to everyone." I said. All 14 of us give our numbers to everyone who didn't have their numbers. "Alright remember meet back at the front of the mall by 5:00" I said. We all walk in different directions with the person we're paired up with.
