Mom's P.O.V.

------At Burkes Outlet------

"Ok, Ally will be here any minute." said Rick. "Get behind us so she won't see you guys." said Emma. Rue, Connor, and I get behind Rick and Emma right before Ally walks up.

"Hey guys." said Ally. "Hi Ally." said Emma. "What have you been up to since I last saw you guys and Michael 2 months ago?" said Ally. "Nothing much just talking to some old friends." said Rick. "Who?" said Ally. "Your surprise." said Emma. Rick, and Emma move aside to reveal Rue, Connor, and I to Ally.

"Hi daughter." I said. "What are you guys doing here?" said Ally. "No what are you doing here. We haven't seen you in 6 years where have you been?" I said. "You don't remember do you?" said Ally. "No." I said. "I left because you and I kept fighting." said Ally. "That won't happen ever again." I said. "Promise." said Ally. "Promise." I said. "You're forgiven." said Ally. "Great." I said. "Where are Caleb, Lane, and Michael?" said Ally. "They're hanging out with 11 of Lane's friends. They're somewhere in the mall." I said. "Where are they I want to see them." said Ally. "I was thinking that you surprise them at their school tomorrow." I said. "Why?" said Ally. "Because Lane's birthday is tomorrow. I called the school principal and told her my plan and she agreed to let us do it." I said. "Do what?" said Rue. "I told the principal that since Lane has school on her 17th birthday, that I wanted for the staff to have a fake assembly so that all the students will be in the gym. So that Ally and Max walk into the gym and surprise not just Lane for her birthday, but for Michael too." I said. "Wait does Michael even know what his dad looks like?" said Rue. "He does." said Emma. "He does?" said Rue. "Yea I gave Michael a picture of dad the last time I visited him, because he asked for a recent picture of him. I would've gave him a picture of mom I didn't have though." said Ally. "Ok. So Ally, will you do it for you brother and sister?" I said. "Sure." said Ally. "Great." I said. "Did Max agree to do the plan?" said Rue. "Yes he did." I said. "Ok." said Rue. "We need to get presents for Lane." said Ally. "Caleb texted me earlier telling me that he now has all of Lane's friends numbers and Michael's too. I told him to tell Michael and Lane's friends to get a present for Lane. He just replied now." said Rue.

Caleb: Just told them. They're looking right now, but Cameron can't

Rue: Why not?

Caleb: Because we split up in groups of 2 and Cameron is with Lane right now.

Rue: Oh

Caleb: He said that he'll look for a present for Lane when he has a chance.

Rue: Ok.

"What did he say?" I said. "They all split up in groups of 2 looking for presents for Lane. But Cameron can't because he's with Lane now. He's going to buy Lane's present when he has a chance." said Rue. "Ok." I said. "What are we doing standing around for my little sister's 17th birthday is tomorrow. We need to look for presents." said Ally pulling on her jacket sleeves. "Lane pulls on her jacket sleeves too Ally." I said. "Really?" said Ally. "Yep all the time." I said. We all look for Lane's birthday presents.
