I drove all the way from Michigan to Maine. It was long. But this is where I wanna get a fresh start. The town is called Belfast. It's small and doesn't have very many people.
"Thank God." I thought.
I already planned everything out. I picked a small apartment by a little diner called "Payne's Diner". I walk into the diner and apply for a job. A woman who looks like she's in her late 40's. She walks up to me and asks if I'm applying for a job. "Yes I answer.
" Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. My names Karen Payne. This is my son , Liam Payne."
The boy looks around my age. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is kind of tan.
"Hi, I'm Liam." He says while shaking my hand.
"I'm Emily." I smile.
This guy seems pretty nice. But I can't be friends with him. I can't get attached to anyone here. That's the whole reason of why I came.
" Soo I guess we'll be working together."
"Yep, I guess so."
