Sorry my loves I thought I had updated! I'm getting old, 22 soon my brain isn't the same 💜

Krissy sighed sadly looking over at her friend unsure of what to do. It had been three days since Ivy and Harley were killed, three agonising days of watching Ember finally break. The girl had shut everything and everyone out.
She didn't eat, she didn't sleep, she didn't speak, she didn't do anything except stare blankly at the now blood stained floor.

"Ember, do you want to pray with me?" Krissy smiled slightly already on her knees as she began her morning prayers.
To be honest she wasn't sure why she still did this because it felt like god had completely abandoned her but her inner church girl refused to be broken. There had to be some absolution somewhere, this couldn't go on forever could it?
Krissy pride herself on being as good as she could be so surely god wouldn't kill the people who tried to live in his image. She just didn't know anymore, everything in her life had been messed up and twisted.

The blonde waited diligently for a reply but the slight shake of Ember's head was all she got in return. She felt defeated but understand why the girl didn't want to pray. Ember needed time to grieve so pushing her to do anything would just knock her further over the edge and Krissy couldn't lose her now, Ember and Zen were her rocks.
Finishing up her prayers Krissy made her way back to Ember's side and sat silently beside her. She hated that Ember refused to speak, she was used to the quiet anymore it made her feel alone.

The sound of the door opening suddenly broke through the silence and in walked Alexander and his men holding two trays of food.
"I heard my rose refuses to eat soooo I'm here to make sure she does" Alexander chirped and Krissy was sure Ember's eyes flashed red momentarily.
As the trays were placed down Krissy quickly dug into her breakfast but kept her eyes to the side, her protective motherly nature on high alert. She hated the way Alexander stalked towards Ember and kneeled down in front of her like a snake preparing to capture a mouse.

"You know not eating won't bring your friends back my love" he purred in Ember's face hoping for a reaction as he lifted up a dry piece of bread and held it at her lips.
Krissy watched Ember flinch slightly before her face went blank once more and she lifted her head to look him dead in the eyes.
"Not talking? How mature" he chuckled running the piece of bread along her bottom lip.
He was sick!
The urge to punch him was clawing at Krissy but if she acted out, she'd end up dead too and she didn't not want to leave Ember at the mercy of this monster.

"Come now darling, eat" he spoke like butter wouldn't melt yet his resolve was breaking.
Anger was beginning to blacken his eyes as Ember shook her head 'no' and continued to just stare at him like he wasn't there, this infuriated him. He craved power, he craved control and knowing it was slipping through his fingers frightened him.

"I said, eat now!"
Again Ember shook her head and slightly backed away, feeling annoyed that he was still rubbing that stupid piece of bread along her lips.
What was this? Fifty shades of bread!
"YOU WILL NOT IGNORE ME!" Alexander roared finally losing all patience.
Krissy gasped in shock as he pounced on Ember and pinned her to the ground but the brunette still refused to react.
"I WILL MAKE YOU EAT MY ROSE!" He continued to shout, forcibly gripping her nose waiting for her to take that one gasp of breath and once she had she slammed the bread into her mouth and held her jaw shut.

Alexander was going to choke her if he continued!
Krissy felt her whole body shake as she watched the scene unfold, even Alexander's men looked uncomfortable like they wanted to be anywhere but there.
Finally after what seemed forever, Alexander pulled away from Ember making sure to shove her further into the ground as he stood back up. Letting out a series of harsh coughs, Ember rolled onto her side and desperately began to pull the bread out her mouth. She wheezed and her chest heaved as she tried to get her breath back, her once blank stare turning into one of disgust and fright.
